I have to confess I'm not all that good at losing. If my team is losing I turn the game off because I can't stand losing. Maybe it's why I'm scared of trying new things - I'm scared of trying because I might lose. I hate rejection and losing is like a rejection.
But that quote made me think about losing differently. If we just won without ever losing we wouldn't appreciate winning as much. You can't really appreciate what you have if you've always had it.
