The same case was with me, I learnt Hindi from cartoons when I was a little kid but didn't know how to write until Hindi subject was added to my subject list along with Bengali in school.

I ditched bengali subject in my school as i had a foreign passport haha but then i did have to choose between arts or german language, i took art @| Gamma |
