neti neti translates to "not this, not that". It refers to the meditative practice of separating awareness (that which you truly are) from that which you are aware of. By investigating yourself and negating everything that you are not (but have always been identified with by default) until every layer has been peeled off, you eventually come to remain as pure awareness / consciousness / bliss itself.
