I read about dopamine plays a main role and how excess dopamine can literally cause a mad rush. (Psychotic) that is to say not a psychopath like harming people but opposite as if you feel unsafe in the world and existential themes. I know meditation helps but they are recurring and intrusive.
Moreover this puts stress on the mind and body and there becomes a feedback loop to seek more dopamine to feel better. How to effectively break the cycle is an art.
I think so but it takes time to recover from any one off incident wouldn’t recommend it at all. It can take a whole year perhaps more for you to be getting your shit together.
