Can't understand what would make someone want to do something like this.

They are inhuman savages with a seriously broken ideology. Giving good muslims a bad name. It's a strange world we live in now.

Holy Shit. You know what is bad? It doesn't even surprise me. Ten years ago I would have been shocked. But now, I am, as you said, numb to this. It is horrible that such attacks happen everyday. And it is even worse that we become numb against this.
I don't really know what to do.

It is the new normal. We have to stop pussy-footing around the threat because we're afraid of being branded 'racist.' Yes, there are millions of good Muslims however there is something within that ideology which isn't present in others and it needs to be addressed.
