Day 1 of NO PMO almost done

 

Day 0

1. Porn teaches that women are created for men. The internet is rife with hundreds of examples of women who get abused or misused because of porn. Porn teaches guys that the epitome of sex is to do whatever you want to your woman and have her enjoy it. Porn doesn’t teach anything about tenderness or understanding. Sex is completely about both of those things. Sex doesn’t exist to make the man feel in control and satisfied. Sex exists to express love and appreciation, as well as procreate. This destroys meaningful sexual relationships and introduces selfishness and manipulation.
2. Porn objectifies women. This can’t be denied. Porn “educates” us that women are a means to an end, that end being sexual satisfaction. Porn tells us that women exist to fulfill our dreams and fantasies. Get out! Men and women exist to complete each other, not to fill sexual fantasies. This is so dangerous because it will degrade and rip down a man’s regard for womanhood. Women are wonderful. Yes, they are very different from men in a dozen ways, but they are good, and womanhood is clean and pure. Porn destroys this.
3. A woman’s attractiveness is dependent on her physical beauty. This one is difficult for many people. As humans we appreciate beauty, especially physical attractiveness in the opposite gender. However, porn twists that to tell us that only physical properties matter. Porn forgets that simple truth that personality, compassion, kindness, and humor can be just as attractive as physical beauty. This is another way porn degrades women and turns them into objects. This is not true! Women are to be cherished and loved, courted and doted upon.
4. Men are all sex-crazed men who want to get down at any second. This one is ridiculous, yet a serious lie that porn advances on all of us. Few men fantasize about having sex with a random police officer or nurse. Well, at least they didn’t before they began watching porn. We don’t immediately see an attractive women and think, “I can’t wait to have sex with her.” This is so dangerous for two reasons. One, it communicates to women that all men are pigs and perverts. Two, it tells men they need to be pigs and perverts. Again, this completely twists the way sex should really be.

Day 3. Felt a few small urges at the end of yesterday/beginning of today, but nothing too strong. Need to keep active and avoid sitting around. One week from genin status.

Day 2. Fought some more urges but made it through. There were a lot of justifying thoughts going through my head to PMO but I knew it was all just bullshit. Gotta watch out for that genjutsu.
