    One step at time. The point of all this is to break habits so if you are moving in the right direction then celebrate that. It's not the exact habit you want but it's moving in the right direction. Beating ourselves up only weakens our resolve for a better self. Keep it up.

    Checking in for day 6 and the beginning of day 7. Only three days away from reclaiming Genin status! Will go on to the chunin exams from there. Still need to write a plan for stronger urges before they hit me again.

    Day 7 checking in.This is my second longest streak after 20 days.It feels good when you look back and connect the dots.The journey is worth it!

    Trust me,although I was abstaining from just P,I felt these benefits.
    1.First things first,self esteem rises!
    2.I can focus for longer amounts of time and can think clearly.
    3.I can make a good eye contact while talking.
    4.I am waking up early these days, idk whether these are interlinked.
    5.I can push myself out of comfort zone. I am more present,more aware.
    6.When you're doing PMO , there is a mask you put in the society..But now I feel like I am just myself.
    7.Yoga and workouts really helped me in choosing healthy foods.
    Daily meditation is of great help.

    Going back over some of my journals, I noticed a relapse/urge trend for me and this may be similar to others. Every so often I feel a bit of a deeper longing for love and relationship with a woman. This is not rooted in lust, but it's rooted in my emotions pretty deeply. This I think is a healthy longing that, as men, we were meant to have. But what I have noticed is that soon after(usually the next day) these emotions well up, I become extremely tempted towards PMO. I think it's because for years I've been medicating these emotions with porn use, and the microscopic frustration of not having a mate was always satisfied through pmo.
    Would love to know if anyone else out there has felt the same thing. Thank you for the support all!

    For some weird reason I haven't had any urges which is great. i don't even really think about sex. lately i have been waking up with morning wood but after i use the bathroom it goes away. these time re easy i like it this way. its like what i have wanted is finally here no urges no constant need to look at girls online. i hope it doesn't go away. if it remains like this my journey will be breeze. However I've been feeling depressed lately not sure if its a withdraw symptom or due to other reasons. I'm really looking forward to breaking records, and self improving. I wonder if this is just a phase, and soon the urges will come back. the thought of relapse, and diving back into this journey from the beginning worries me. Since my initial masturbation addiction (I went one year, and half without masturbating, and then i relapsed. totally forgetting about it. And then it got worse because i started to watch pron which has made my journey even harder.) haven't gone more then 2 weeks without beating off. I will be really glad to break that record. I feel like I'm farther in my journey then i actually am. like i don't even know what day I'm on something like day 5 or 6 but i feel like day 30. Well hopefully i become stronger, and defeat these evil monster of PM

    Day 8. Almost back to being a Genin! Have my written plan of what to do when I feel urges right next to my bed.
