I discovered gooning a week ago.I had a relapse again yesterday and feel terrible about it. Since I discovered it I have 0 motivation to do anything. My brain just wants to do it everyday. I have 0 desire to live and neglect my commitments such as the gym

Gooning is a killer my friend, but remember the gooning community is a lost cause, it's the end of loving yourelf and letting an addiction take us no matter the harms it causes. Give yourself some love, get back to the gym, do healthy things. Be with your family, be with your friends, and help people on here. There's nothing more powerful than just dropping something inspirational or suggesting a couple of things that have helped you to another addicts. It helps us to step out of ourselves, which is the palce where addiction thrives.

Peace be with you, and feel free to drop me a message, I'm happy to help and recommend some good things that have helped me in recovery.

I've been there, man. It's tough to get out of the cycle, but you will manage.

Since I just got out of a horrible relapse cycle (which included gooning), I'll tell you what helped me and hopefully something will be useful to you.

- Deleting everything related to porn. All the accounts (reddit, discord etc), every download, all the browsing history and stuff so that search engines don't suggest porn-related stuff (in case you weren't using private browser).

- Keeping the curtains open, so people who walk by can look in. Of course, this depends on your living arrangements. Another idea is going to a café or something if you want to use your laptop.

- Write down your daily goals/tasks first thing in the morning and keep whatever you wrote it on next to you, this keeps you focused on the tasks. I usually write some motivational quote or something beneath it.

- Most importantly, delete triggers. It always starts with a trigger and let's face it, for most of us it's social media. It's full of thirst traps. I'd recommend just deleting it all (especially Instagram and Tiktok).

- Install a good blocker. I know they are far from perfect, but they act as speed bumps on the way to relapse. Giving us a few extra seconds to contemplate.

Good luck, you got this and never give up.
