I'm starting to appreciate the small steps and small successes. All my life I've been trying to get somewhere fast, including with NoFap. It's time to enjoy the journey and celebrate a week :) Thanks for the replies fellas

My take on this is to think of a logarithmic scale rather than a linear scale, although that is totally a matter of choice. For me it is more useful to consider it as "ABC steps".
    A. 1 day
    B. 10 days
    C. 100 days

You get it. It is more useful because I think brain changes and subjective feelings are more easily assessed on a log scale. Consider your improvements, victories and overall hero's journey as following my "ABC" method. For "D" it means 1000 days, more than 2 years (in fact, almost 3), which I think corresponds to virtually complete digital arousal detox.

I can't agree with you guys more

Here is a graph of how I had been doing the past couple of months. Basically, relapses are these negative peaks in the figure.

If I didn't document this, I wouldn't have realized how one relapse can really drag someone into a different state of mind....
I can't explain how hard it was for me to pass two days without relapsing again.
But honestly, that is what we all should learn how to do.
Not to have a straight line but to be able to recover and not watch porn for a while (like whats shown in green). And avoid doing what I did in red as much as possible.
It is easier for me now to pick myself up because I'm motivated and hopefully will be able to ride the wave for 10-15 days.
But once I relapse in the future or get triggered, I need to refocus and get out of that mental state as fast as possible which honestly is so hard.
