    Hey all. Checking in again.

    I’m at a point with NoFap right now where a lot of my friends are coming to me and asking me about getting out of their porn addiction. It makes me feel good that they can come to me and ask questions about it. NoFap has taught me the importance of community. “Each one teach one,” “I am my brother’s keeper,” etc. I think that’s very important.

    I haven’t even been concerned with putting myself out there in the dating scene as of late. I’m more so tuned in to being the best version of myself now more than ever. I let the pieces fall where they may and I don’t chase things or people that may not be meant for me. I still understand that I can’t be in a relationship because there’s still a lot of healing that I need to address.

    I’ve been talking to this woman for a bit. I feel kinda bad because I’m certain she wants a relationship, but I can’t give her that commitment right now. Plus, I wouldn’t want for her to feel neglected, but I’ve been so focused on staying on task that I just don’t have the time to give her the attention that she wants. I’ll take some responsibility for not being vocal about this sooner, but I wanted to see how things between us would transpire.

    Overall, I feel like I’m in a better place. Although there was one week where it felt like nothing was going right (fatigue, lapse in productivity, etc.) Despite this, I knew I couldn’t stay in that funk for too long. So I promised myself that I would get back up and pick up where I left off. And I intend on doing so.

    Wishing you all Godspeed on your respective journeys.

    @BigCatTunski Well done! Super job!

    I'd love to hit these kinds of milestones.

    How did you move from short challenges to long-term success?

    I really just kept the goal in front of me. Holding myself accountable and making sure that every 30 days, I jump on NoFap and document my progress. Also, I had to learn how to say no when these desires come about. I did it enough to a point that I wouldn’t even think about PMO and I could limit those desires. It was an amazing feeling knowing that it became a thing of the past. Speaking honestly, I’m glad I got out of it when I did, cuz God knows how far off I’d be from reality and sticking to my purpose if I didn’t. Achieving this can be done. It takes being honest and knowing when to say no and a whole lot of dedication. Anything is achievable when you put the work in.
