I'm aiming for 100 days semen retention. Today I'm on day 20 and i feel quite positive. But it's been really tough i won't lie.

I have been meditating and it's helping tremendously with mindfulness.

I will update this on day 40.

I am with you brother. Where are you focusing your sexual energies instead of pmo'ing? Do you work out or something?

    Thanks, man.
Well, basically I run, but only on Saturdays. Other days i just practice mindfulness whenever i feel the urge. And, of course, I'm usually busy doing anything i need to do to earn a living on week days

No one said this was going to be easy. And I'm a 36 yo man with a horrible past.
So far i have lived this life the easy way -- Always using sexual escapism to deal with things.
Frustrated? Oh.. why don't you look at some po*n and just beat off to it?
Bored? Oh... Why not play with p**is a little?
So, because i have an easier way to get off, I never really made the effort to get comfortable at dating women. Now I'm single and alone.
But i will make the effort this time to, at least, quit this bad habit for good. I owe to myself to do that. It has caused me nothing but pain and loss. I have lost my time and my dignity.
I just want things to go back to normal.

    Hi guys.
I know i said i would update on day 40; but today is day 30 and I'm really struggling to be honest.
My loneliness is tugging at my soul and i want to give in and watch some disgusting video on YouTube -- mating video of ducks! Yeah, f*cking duck, literally.
My life is f*cked up and i have nothing going for me except a university education and a job that pays me just enough to stay alive.
Since today i have been thinking long and hard about how to put my life in order and get out of this absolute dissatisfaction that is plaguing my soul -- sadly, i came up with nothing!
Well... Guys, excuse my rants -- i have no one to talk to on a deep level like this in real life.
But after all said and done, i guess i will still stay strong and keep going -- for myself.
Day 30. I'm looking forward to the next 30 days.

Congrats on day 30. These negative feelings will pass and are likely only perceived to be worse since you're denying yourself of your usual escapes. The good news is you can use this fuel to improve your life. If you need an accountability partner to talk to DM me.

Only today did i realize that withdrawal for porn is actually a real thing! I felt it within my soul and it was so cruel. God help me.

hola voy el dia 72 de los 1500Hi, I'm on day 72 of the 1,500. It was too hard for me to reach 50 days, then everything is easier, the brain gets used to retaining testosterone.

The truth about semen retention is that it pushes you to take your life seriously. It pushes to take a good look over your life and see all the blind spots -- all those areas that need change , and it forces you to begin the work.

These past few days have been hellish for me, and i know it's my brain adjusting to the harsh reality -- NO MORE COP OUT! NO MORE ESCAPISM! LIFE IS TOUGH, DEAL WITH IT!

Among other things i have dusted my piano, I'm ready to give it another shot. I have re-installed FL Studio on my computer -- i hope i learn this time. I will need some money to get a microphone and a few other things. My goal before the year ends is to start a mini home studio. Music gives me life! All through the years i have been escaping from all the work that need to be done -- porn and masturbation have been the escape route. No more!

What has been said here somehow resonates in me. This part, more precisely : "I do Nofap as we speak but I still experiment difficulties".

And I have to say that yes indeed. I am in the same situation when doing Nofap only. It helps a lot (good mood, pro-active, more energy, magnetism, etc.) but it doesn't cure everything. At least not below a certain number of days - in the sense that some have done several years of abstinence and mentioned having completely changed their life just by applying retention. But for the vast majority of us, that are generally below six months of semen retention, just doing nofap alone is not enough.

I am one of those who believe that the nofap journey must be accompanied by several other elements to touch this bliss state. Some examples below :

Meditation, breathing exercises, healthy eating, prayers, grounding or earthing, thermotherapy, psychotherapy, martial arts or at least sports, improv and/or theater courses, positive music and sounds, group therapy, etc.

Let's say that an individual that pratices Nofap is shy, well that person will benefit more fulfilness by praticing theater courses and/or group therapy instead of just doing Nofap. It's just an example of course. But I think the general concept is easily understandable.

    ------
That being said, I wanted to say that it did me good to look into this and write these lines. I'm also kind of talking to myself as I write this and I'm not superior to anyone in any ways. :p

Absolutely! Nofap by itself is pretty much pointless unless that energy is applied to some other higher objectives. Makes no sense to just sit around all day and practice nofap...

Good job man, channeling this energy (because that's what it is) into something else like meditation or other creative outlets like music will definitely help. Abstaining without transmuting the sexual energy into something else is only bound to cause frustration as I'm sure you've noticed. Keep up the good work, and I can tell you from personal experience that it does get easier. But at the same time it's totally possible to slip up no matter how long you've been doing this. Again, speaking from personal experience here.

And if you do slip up, don't beat yourself up too much. Guilt is never helpful in my opinion. Instead acknowledge what happened and gather the resolve to make it further the next time. Typically someone who can get streaks over 100+ have relapsed numerous times on previous streaks in order to reach those numbers. 'There are no failures, only stepping stones on the road to success' is something that I like to say. It's all a learning experience.

I'd wish you luck, but I think we both know there's no actual luck involved in an endeavour like this. May your path be full of many blessings, my brother.
