    Awareness my friend, awareness. If the awareness is trained, you can see urges coming from a mile away. Moreover, as the urge arises, the awareness can expose it just like a light exposes the darkness. Develop awareness of your own mind and body. If done with enough intensity urges will come and go, or perhaps not even arise at all.
