126 days in - Benefits and problems so far

No, thank you for coming back and showing us what's possible. What little I've read probably suggests that what I've had is depression (which I've been diagnosed with) rather than just anhedonia. I just know that for aside from a few brief incidents, joy has been absent from my life for over 20 years.

This guy had Anhedonia for 6 years and had success with L-tyrosine, maybe you should try it

Every time I’ve had sexual encounters, I could never keep an erection, it was not a good experience, and it’s only now that I realise that the porn is doing this to me, I usually masturbait everyday to porn, but now I’m wanting to give up and I feel like this websites gonna help me a lot. Hey mate, around day 60 I felt like my erections started to get better when I had sex. Now, my PIED is cured.
I think that the reboot will do you good if you just hang in there.
 
Sounds like you need to give yourself a reboot, @SubDub96. Just remember that everyone is different. It may take longer, or shorter, but you owe it to yourself to see what you're capable of, ne?
 
That sounds like a good length of time, I just hate meeting really beautiful girls and they wait to see the magic happen and nothing happens haha, it’s embarrassing at times, I keep thinking it was the alcohol but then I was sober some times and I couldn’t keep it up, it sucked and I just thought how weird it was there is a girl pretty much begging for it and I couldn’t make it happen, then I realised I had ed, but I’d still could get it up and then it came down to the porn, and I realise a lot of people have this problem because of it

I feel you, I have been there too. Eat healthy and do the reboot and you will have rock hard erections when you are going to have sex.
 
I have heard before NoFap that I'm a good looking guy but I did not get the stares before it (I had to work a lot more for it before NoFap) but every time I'm out partying now, I get a lot of stares from women (I truly believe that women sense high testosterone/high dopamine in men). I think that I started to notice it about 2 months in to the reboot. The only problem now is the flatline, but it will pass. Keep doing the reboot mate, it will be worth it. How is it going for you? Thanks :) Had a couple of wet dreams in the beginning, then I had like 100 days without and 2 weeks ago, I had 2 wet dreams two days in a row. I think it is a sign of healing in my opinion. But yes, you are probably correct about the wet dreams.

Nice this is my longest streak im going to keep with my strategy you gave me hope, last night i had a nocturnal emission with out the erotic dream, i was dreaming something weird i was climbing up rocks that would break as you grab them I keep getting that weird dream

Benefits so far:

+ Had beautiful skin before NoFap, but it's even more beautiful now (Eating healthy all the time is the key to beautiful skin)
+ Calmer
+ Curing my anhedonia (Flatline/withdrawal period makes it worse though). This is the main reason for starting NoFap
+ Before NoFap, sex was nice, but now it's amazing
+ PIED cured
+ Women are checking me in all the time and starting conversations with me before I make contact (This is a amazing feeling, can't describe it..)
+ People are a lot more nicer to me
+ A lot more optimistic (Before NoFap, everytime I got a compliment, I used to not take that in. Now I'm glad and saying thanks)
+ Changing my views on women totally, soon ready for relationship

Problems during NoFap

- Flatline comes and goes. At the moment, I'm in a flatline from hell. Low energy, low motivation, need to take naps and hard to get up in the mornings.
- During flatline, I crave a lot of sweets and sometimes I can't stop myself from eating some candy, chocolate etc.
- Going to take a lot of time - This is something a lot of us have to be prepared for, 90 days is not enough.
- Brutal urges sometimes. When the urges hits you, keep yourself occupied with something!

Bro!! Those going and coming flatlines will end in longer reboot. You need 2 more months. 90 day is initial, keep going its not end yet.
But ur story is inspiring keep going bro.

Things that help a lot with withdrawal symptoms (which you call "flatline") are exercise, meditation, time in nature, socializing, staying offline, and beneficial stressors like cold showers or intermittent fasting. But you have to do them daily to help regulate your mood and get your brain back in balance.

@jorg78 awesome to know NoFap is working for you! I am hoping to extract similar benefits from it.

I have one or two symptoms in the link you gave, but I react as expected in all other situations given there. So I suppose lack of dopamine is not my problem but lack of success is. I used masturbation & porn as a quick fix to feel better after feeling down. I even took l-tyrosine for sometime to see if It helps. But it didn’t work.

And yes don’t give up. You are an inspiration. You are ahead of the curve. Good luck !
