Hi I'm 14 years old as of 2020 and I started PMO when I was 12. During 2019, December I started developing a distain for life which then turned into diagnosed Generalized Anxiety Disorder. I want to know if this is because of PMO. I do feel better when I abstain for many days.

First thing is PMO is not good both physically and mentally.
Another thing is if you feel good abstaining, why not continue abstaining.

Third is I don't know if it can induce some anxiety disorder, it's way out of my expertise.

But don't loose hope. You have understood it at very young stage so start now itself to get rid of this habit. :)
    Stay strong

  3. hi dude,

I have been diagnosed with anxiety disorder too. It's tough to know what causes it exactly, because my mom has anxiety and I also gone through a lot of traumatic experiences. But I can say definitively that PMO does not help with anxiety and it also hurts your self esteem. I got hooked on PMO when i was 16, I'm 32 years old and still trying to kick this addiction. You are young and have a bright future ahead, do not feed this addiction. The more you give in now, the worse will become and the harder it will be to treat. PMO wasted a lot of my time that i could never get back and it held me back on everything whether it was education, meeting friends, getting a girlfriend, etc.

The thing is that I have no family who have disorder mentally and I have been maintaining a healthy lifestyle(except pmo) since I was very young. Is it because my brain is so sensitive at this age that pmo causing prolactin spike, dopamine spike, messed up my hormones. Another thing is that I have always been an introvert but liked to socialize. I remember growing up I did not need much to feel stimulated or excited. I'm probably more sensitive to dopamine. What do you guys think?
