I recently admitted to myself that I have a problem with sexual entertainment. My SO went through my phone while I was asleep and found out my activities on cam sites. They have asked me to give up porn and it's been a problem in our relationship for over two years now. The difference now is that I admit that I have an addiction and I've lied and tried to hide it.

I have committed to a reboot and I'm over two weeks in. However, my SO won't tell me what she needs from me because then it wouldn't be genuine. I'm truly at a loss as to what to do now to repair our relationship.

Any help or advice on how to handle a betrayed loved one would be greatly appreciated.

Marriage counseling/therapy is always a possibility. The problem with that is that a lot of people think that therapy is only for the mentally unstable and crazies, which is absolutely ridiculous. The only other option I can think of would be to talk to her in private and uninterrupted, and just tell her straight up that you don't know her wants and needs. Tell her that in order to give her what she wants, you at least need a nudge in the right direction, otherwise, you're completely in the dark about helping her in the regard in any way.

Just make absolutely sure you're genuine about it and that she knows that the point of the discussion is to help her, NOT help her to not be mad at you.
