  6. I find it interesting that most of us were blissfully unaware of these stats or simply 'didn't care'. much like the drug addict who chooses to ignore the pain and suffering required to get their class A drugs from production to door step. I think what has most shocked me in my recovery journey is reading about the lives of porn stars and the way they are treated and the lifestyles they lead, far from glamorous or healthy and it's a real shame because i've seen some really intelligent and beautiful girls who escaped the porn industry who totally regretted getting involved in the first place and i think, you should never have had to face that as a choice because everyone has the potential to make a positive contribution to the world and all the things they went through like violence, coercion and mysogony, totally unneccessary. Many leave with emotional scars, mental health problems, physical health problems and drug dependency issues, not all of them but a significant number from what i understand through various sources. When you view porn you contribute to that environment.

I totally agree with you, in addition to the many pornstars who committed suicide because of drug overdose or depression.

A lot of those stats are bullshit. 3 billion a year for kiddie porn? Really. Who's doing the billing on that? I'm sure Visa and Mastercard are happy to issue child pornographers merchant accounts. Don't tell me Bitcoin, either. a) it's completely traceable, and b) about a year ago BTC's whole market cap was like 4 billion total. And more than 3% of the overall porn market? Uh huh.

624,000 KP traders discovered in the US alone? So did they catch them all, and there's none left? Or is there still a bunch out there? Because there's only 160 million dudes in the US. Do the math. Utter bullshit.

Porn increased marital infidelity by 300%? Yeah, sure. Look at all the personal testimonies of porn addicts on this board who's sex drive went through the roof thanks to porn.

    a) It's super easy to film. The only difference between that kind of porn and the normal type is a couple lines of dialogue.

    b) over 40% of kids are born out of wedlock. That's a lot of "steps".

I have to say I find #6 to be the most disgusting. I've visited some other threads that talk about this and it's disgusting. I'm not proud of what I fapped to, but I'm glad it kept me away from "teen" stuff.

Is it normal that I have thought about no.15? I do sometimes think about trying out some of things I see in porn with a future partner. Obviously a lot of trust and talking would need to go down - and I would not do anything that would be uncomfortable for her in any way. But isn't this quite a normal thing to watch porn then want to try out some of things in real life with a partner?

I think it depends on the act. Some fetishes are unsanitary or have her do something she may feel is degrading. There are some normal things, though. Trying a new position is fine.
