Hey, guys. I thought this would be a good outlet for my problem so ere I am. I am a 19 y/o student. I've been using porn ever since I stumbled upon in in middle school. From then til now, porn has exacerbated my problems to the nth degree and now I have trouble controlling myself from the temptation of watching porn and everything that comes with it. I used porn as a way to cope w/boredom and stress and that turned out to be the worst choice.

I have lost someone I love deeply because I couldn't stop watching porn. I loved her dearly and due to my crippling addiction I lost her for good w/no chance of ever getting her back her ever seeing her. I was in a perfect relationship which lasted 2+yrs and the thing that ruined everything was porn. I hate myself to no end, for what happened and I wish I never started watching.

I want to stop watching porn for the losing the best thing, the best person I could ever have. I plan to quit porn, cold turkey, starting today and not do anything that might trigger me to watch porn(i.e. masturbation). I'm not proud of myself that I have this problem, I'm upset that I lost someone great because of it, but I want to do something about it even though I may not ever get a chance to meet someone that special to me again. I just want my problem to end...for good. Let me know any tips that could help me through my process.

  2. @Yusuke7711 ,

Welcome to NoFap! Glad you found the forums.

If you haven't read the "Getting Started with NoFap" guide, try it. I hope you find it as informative as I did. I had to read it a few times to see myself in it.

    Then, watch this video:

It's a really good explanation of how pmo causes addiction.

Keep coming back, it works if you work it,
