2.5 Months PIED & ED Update

    After 2.5 months of no porn, I can get 100% hard without porn. I'm not posting this story in the success category because I'm not fully recovered yet.

    For example, I have noticed that my erection takes longer to achieve which means that I'm still not as excitable as I used to be without porn. This shows me that there must still be some rewiring/damage to be repaired.

    I have a feeling that masturbation has actually helped my recovery (but I'm still trying to minimise it to once a week). The one thing that I have cut out, and will never go back to, is porn.

    I never had erection issues with real girls (apart from one or two cases of performance anxiety due to lack of experience in bed), or while watching porn and I used it for over 15 years (I'm 32 years old now). But I just wanted to stop as a lifestyle decision because real girls are far better, and porn was making real girls seem less attractive.

    However, saying that, I'm still quite sure that porn made it harder and unnatural for me to have sex. I just didn't enjoy it as much. I was also far more nervous because I felt deep down that porn was doing something bad. I'm far more confident after quitting porn and wiring my brain to real life experiences. I still think that I had some instances where PIED was present.

    But one very scary thing happened after quitting porn. The flatline. That was quite scary. I could barely get/maintain an erection just 1.5 weeks after quitting. That just shows that porn does some unhealthy things to the brain.

    I'm going to continue on this path.
