Hi everyone, have been 2 weeks since i started and im feeling good, i do more chores in the house and im starting to idk listen to people or something, i have never do that before, like really join with them in their conversation and everything: laughts, argues, etc.

However i wouldnt be posting this here if would be a succes story oh no. Im still having lot of sexual fantasies in my mind during the day, i created a devian art account to follow some artists but i found (nothing porn or hentai) an artist that captured the personality of a female character of an old game that i played, and i just see the character, and my mind just flow, the artist didnt draw anything inapropiate, but still pretty and that turn me on, its the simplicity of the character and i really imagine her in a sexual fantasy.

Its hard that i have reached 2 weeks and i have found this and a few hours ago i just tried to look for hentai of this character but i decided to stop, i wont lose all my progress, i need help guys really need to stop those sexual fantasies in my mind.

P.S: And also i just read the getting started guide and i realized that im not sexual active and im even virgin so i had to update my badge to PMO.

You cannot force your mind not to think about something. Your only way is to be ok with the fact that those thoughts come. See them and think "okay, so I have the momentum of thoughts flowing into that direction, but I am the master here and I decide to act or not to act on them".
If you resist them, they become powerful, because you would only try to fight a real danger, so you make them more 'real' for your mind by resisting them.
Also, praise yourself more on the success you have achieved. Every day you don't go for porn or hentai, and even every hour, means you are strong and in control. One lapse does not cancel all that happened before.

Hmm, also, maybe I'm going too far out on a limb here, but try to lead your fantasies. So the charachter comes to mind - offer her to study together or work, hmm, ask her to change old tile in your bathroom - make it useful or absurd (depends on what feels better). Maybe like this it will slowly loosen associations it has for you and you'll just laugh about it.

  4. Man, this is going to be a long haul for you. Everybody gets tempted in their mind or runs into imagery that is enticing. And some days are really, really tough.
There are no easy answers. Will power only helps a little bit.
I have discovered that forcing yourself to slow down can help - take time to breath. Take time to eat or drink very slowly.
Take a walk and enjoy everything around you.
Fantasies will always visit you. Do not let them control you.

Hi Jorge, fantasies were really tough for me for a while. Something that worked for me was to stop telling myself to stop thinking about fantasies when they came up. Instead, I simply "don't care." Your brain attaches importance to thoughts that elicit strong reactions from you, good or bad. So sometimes if you scream at yourself "not" to think about something, your brain freaks out, and won't think about anything else.

Give it a try, after all, if you're rebooting, you DON'T care about fantasies, right? They're part of your past, not your future. Right as you start to feel a fantasy come over you, say in your mind that you don't care about that, and move onto something you DO care about.

  7. Brother, I just want to add one thing. I didn't have any real sex until I was in my mid 20s. But because of porn's influence, they were not particularly good experiences for me or my partner. You will eventually have sex (could be today, tomorrow, or a year from now, but it'll happen) but the #1 thing is to totally free yourself from porn. Porn and PMO will fuck up your sex life. I haven't had sex in years (and I am married) and I know why - porn fucked me up. Do not let it happen to you!
