I suffered from PIED afew years ago too when I was around 19-20 years old. Its afew things that helped me recover from this.

1. Cutting out Porn and Porn subsitutes completely. The more you get turned on by pixels on your sceen, the stronger those arousal pathways of artificial stimulation grow. So no browsing that sexy instagram models pictures or anything that you know will give you that rush.

2. Stop fantasizing. Fantasizing will lead to a relapse in most scenarios. It's the thought in the mind that triggers everything else. Dont fight it but when those fantasizing thoughts pop up in your mind, notice them, and say to yourself " This isn't good for me, I won't do that." Then go occupy your mind and time with something else.

3. Rewire with real girls. This is probably the most important one. Those natural pathways of arousal need to be strengthened again. This does not mean it has to be sex though. It can be intimate hugging, kissing, touching, anything that you know should get you aroused. NOW one hard part about this is that rewiring with real girls can cause you to fantasize about them. I struggled with this early. There will be alot of times you"ll have to tell yourself "This isn't good for me, I won't fantasize." MY best advice on that is to fantasize your life success instead of you r sexual success. Imagine vivid scenes of where you want to be in life 5-10 years from now.

I remember a butt naked girl could'nt get me hard because I had such sever PIED. After about 4-5 months of doing the things above, I couldn't even talk to a fully clothed girl without my big man down stairs standing at attention involuntarily (lol). Just stay disciplined and always always remind yourself where you want to be, why you want to be there, and how PMO will not get you there. You're only a couple years younger than me with so much life ahead of you. Older guys in their 40's and 50's who are still PMO addicts would KILL to turn back time and quit this crazy addiction. I've been exactly where you are man and I've been on the brighter side too. Life is so so great and precious now, but I couldn't see it back then through the Porn fog....don't you want to see clearly? Blow that fog away! Be who you're supposed to be ! Wow this helped very much, gave me some inspiration. But you're right esp about number 1. Sometimes just seeing the pixelated image of a woman makes your brain crave more. I deleted my Instagram app. Instagram is the worst place.
