    Hello there!

I am a 22 y/o male trying to recover from severe PM addiction.

I started doing M too long ago. I dont even remember how young I was when my body matured and I didn't know how to take care of it. Eventually, when I was 15 or 16, somebody told me about porn and I got intrigued.

Since then, things have been pretty much going the wrong way. The addiction gets worse over time and there are times when you would want to do it for around 5 6 times a day, anything can arouse you and you know you are a mess.

Luckily for me, I tried to abstain through keeping the urge in. I started to suppress the evil thoughts when they pop up in your mind and try to live with these thoughts. Although this leaves you in constant battle with your own self, but I think it is for good. Once I felt that I can decide better whether or not I want to consume PM or not, I started to use the psychology tricks to keep myself from consuming such content.

I would tell myself that PM are bad for my health. I have been dating ladies on and off and consumption of PM will only make things worse there too. So, I sat down, wrote down about it and tried to talk my own self into quitting PM.

Believe me it worked. I have been continuing this practice for 2 years now with around 8 to 10 30 day streaks. Furthermore, I just got reset on a 70 day streak as I was working on a 90 days streak.

I feel like being a part of a community that could help me recover will enable me to recover greatly from this addiction and I will eventually transition toward a better lifestyle...

    Nice meeting you all!

    Okay man good job.
I have a question for you.
In the 2 years you have been working on it, did you then allow youre self to have sex or did you have sex.
And if so how did that feel?

Pretty terrible if I be honest. The images and names keep haunting you, and you feel no connection at all to your partner.

Negative my friend! You know your body and its arousal points way better than anybody else. The ladies will have a hard time in doing the job for you. Furthermore, when a partner thinks he or she is not good enough, they start to drift away from you. I am saying this with experience from 2 failed relationships.

Sex is out of this world. It's not just the cumming part, that's cool but like 20% of it. You touch a woman, you look into her eyes, you kiss, her body and softness, your emotional connection, the beauty of a feminine figure, there is nothing which can come close to it. Zero. And what a good and ready VJ has to offer will blow your eyes out! it's soft and slippery with curvatures designed to suck the soul and heart out of you. I mean it to a level that at any moment someone thinks pussy is not that good, they should think about having a boyfriend or changing girlfriends.

  7. Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

First let me go ahead and drop some helpful links for you:

Getting Started Guide / Forum Rules / How to Use the NoFap forums/ Glossary/ NoFap Panic button / Set up your day counter / Rebooting Resources/ About NoFap/ Support NoFap

    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just advise you to be active on your profile(as there a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

Theres a portion of people who love communicating in the profile section..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal. Make sure and be grateful for the help you received and give some help after receiving some. Invest in some people's journeys. We could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal/log (in the appropriate section for you) and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!

Hi and welcome to the community

I would recommend you to stay in touch with members and read their success stories. You may also learn tricks to avoid the short-term pleasure and to face the temptations.

Be AWARE of your habits and control what you see and what/who you spend your time with.

It's also important to limit the usage of social media. In addition, never be free! Use your free time as much as possible and do sports, exercise, attend classes, etc.

This video contains everything that you need to know about porn addiction. Lastly, here is a collection of ways to deal with the urges which worked great for me.

֍ You got this my friend ֍
