Hello, as the title says I'm 23 almost 24 and I feel pressured by my virginity. Well nobody bothers me because I apparent that I'm not, but everytime I talk with someone older or younger than me and they tell me their experiences I feel bad, is like at my age I have to enjoy a healthy sexual life that I haven't. I know one of my biggest deal is PMO, because I have some opportunities to have sex but I messed it up by thoughts that I constantly have like if i would be good at sex, if I would have an ED and that kind of stuffs
I'm in my day number 5 and I'm beginning to feel more confident with myself, I hope it would be a solution for this

You have your entire life to deal with sex. Spend this season in your life repairing the damage caused by PMO.

Well that's annoying. I guess you just gotta stand above that. Wait for a girl to enter your life who you can tell about your virginity. I lost mine at age 22 and didn't tell her. I suffered from PIED and well, it sucked, especially since she was the woman of my dreams at that time.

It will happen at some point. Don't worry. Once you've had sex, you will either crave more and more, or you will learn that there are more important things in life. (I haven't had sex for two and a half years now and I feel that this abstinence, more involuntary than not, has cleansed me.)

Until then, do not only quit PMO but also use this opportunity to change your whole lifestyle for the better. Do it step by step. You can start with doing sports, a healthier nutrition, cleaning your room more often, finding a hobby, becoming creative, changing your look, making new acquaintances, whatever you like...

  4. I am 24 and I kinda lost my virginity right before my birthday. It would never have happened if it wasnt for me doing well in nofap and life at the time. I was 17 days clean then. I did it with a friend of mine after a party. Slept over. It sucked. Struggled with ED aswell. It is 5 months since now and I havent had sex since. I didnt change at all. My problems are still here. And I am still not proud of my sex life. And I realized something pretty scary: It was much worse than yust doing it myself. It was not a mayor transformation of my life in any way. This is something I believe comes little by little. The most important thing is to improve yourself in any way possible. First thing to go is PMO. It corrupts our minds in ways we dont yet understand. And dont worry about your age. We are both still young but it is time to start living! Yust dont blame yourself for the wasted years. You havent had sex yet because you have been PMOing and that makes you lazy. Remove the porn and your sexuality will grow. Soon enough you will start to go out because you want to pick up girls. And this is true. Your social anxiety starts to get replaced by lust and you will start to follow your instincts again. This is how it is supposed to be. Take back your sexuality. Quit PMO.

I'm really thankful with you guys. I'm now in my 7 day without PMO and I begin to feel myself and now I understand that I can't be happy with my sexual life until I quit this forever..I have to be patient to see some rewards.
Hope you're doing well too ..and once another, thanks!

Trust me sex is not a big deal at all. I had sex one time in my life. It was OK, but it wasn't the best day in my life. Losing your virginity is like asking a old person from a third world country to try fast food for the first time in his life. It is not that exciting. Virgin or not you are the same person. Nothing magical will happen. Do not worry about what other people might think of you. It OK to be a virgin. Just be you and live happy in life.

  7. Hello there,

this is my first posting here in the forums :)

I disagree with the posting above. Sex can be an very important experience in your life.

I had my first sexual relationship with 24. I was impressed how close you get to another person - mentally. It's a moment of very deep connection to another person, not just to the body, also to her mind. At least when it is a match :)

Well, it's me from 1,5 year ago. :D I was a virgin and felt bad about it. When there were few weeks left to my 24th birthday, I started to meet with a girl (she didn't even suspect that I had no such experience). It tooked several weeks but when I was 24 already, it happened.

Remember - it's not a race. You are not worse just because someone slept with girl when he was 17 and you first time was in the age of 24 or 25. Many young men are really shy and our age is often the time when you are starting becoming really confident man and start to be attractive for women. You are still young, you have the whole life for doing it! Start worrying when you are 40 or something like this. ;)

Sex is overrated. You haven't found the right person. It took me a while to find a guy that truly loved me for me.

Also, comparing yourself to others is fine. But don't fixate on it. It doesn't lead anywhere. Focus on improvement. Slow and gradual change rather than instant-oatmeal stuff. We believe in you, paloloj9!

    1. Welcome to NoFap! :)
    2. Statistics say, it's best when you finish after 17 minutes and 29 seconds. Recommended positions are... No, just kidding. Relax. Having sex with a girl for the first time is never as great as you hope it to be, and the girl knows that. (Unless she's still a virgin herself may be, but in that case she will be more nervous than you!) The best way is to just relax and enjoy what comes out of it. She won't judge you. The intimacy you feel will be more important than any sort of "performance".
    3. In case you're worried about ED, quit fapping.
    4. She'll have an idea of how you look before she sleeps with you. If you don't like your body, do sports and improve your nutrition!

Spend far less time worried about what hasn't happened and spend more time on what has happened. What has happened? You've became addicted to PMO. THAT should be your primary concern. Should you not deal with that first, rest assured that the other will be problematic (refer to so many journals on this site). Concern yourself about today's issues because tomorrow will take care of itself. For, it is better to concern yourself with being the best man you can for your future girl than to worry about your bedroom performance, remembering you will spend for less time in bed with her than out of bed with her.

Dont pressurize yourself. I'd rather remain a virgin than have sex and regret it later. It's okay to be a virgin. Nowadays everyone wants to be some super stud who's an alpha, or maintain such an image.

There was a time when I wanted to visit a prostitute to get rid of my virginity, I'm glad i didn't go there. There are alternate sources of joy than sex.

Haha you almost got me there. Problem is how do I tell her "errrm, I've never done this before" without bruising my ego...I wanna be macho n all...I tried it once on some girl I met and she disappeared into the thin air...
As for ED, I wanna quit fapping so bad..but there is this itch like feeling I get after staying for hours without punching the clown.
As for sports and diet...I have tried almost everything, but I seem to be gaining instead of loosing weight. I played amateur rugby for a few months but no loss...

Try it with a girl you have an intimate emotional connection with. The best thing would be to do it with your girlfriend, of course. Don't worry about bruising your ego -- you won't regret it. Your ego will only create a wall between yourself and the girl. If it's a one night stand or something, well, in that case it really might be better to not tell her and just jump into the cold water. But don't expect too much.

This itch is all psychological. It's not an actual physical need. This addiction affects your body, of course, but it's still a psychological one. Educate yourself on porn addiction. Watch some videos on Youtube, for example. I also like the term groinal response.

Weight alone is not a problem. I get heavier when I exercise, too. When I don't exercise regularly I'm below 80kg, and when I do, I'm above 80kg (and I'm looking better!). According to the BMI I'm slightly overweight, but in fact I'm just muscular above average, and I'm content with my body. So, it's not about your weight, but about what you see in the mirror, and of course your (subtle) body language is important. Never underestimate how the way you feel about yourself will reflect in your outer appearance.

  16. Same here @Headspace , I am 1.87 and 90 kg. If I even mention that I look fat, people will start accusing me for being anorectic. I have been working out pretty regularly for the last two years and have a pretty low body fat percentage which I would consider more important than the weight itself. I am actually gaining weight which I think is necessary if you want to have more muscles.

  17. Why the whole world is going crazy for sex I don't understand and also don't want to understand such crap, rather than getting desperate for sex and losing virginity, you should focus on PMO, if you are here I hope like all others you are also an addict to such stuffs, so try to resolve this issue, without solving this problem can you expect yourself to be satisfying partner in bed, I hope you better know the answer, I'am too 25 year old and so called virgin but whole life is there and health comes first, so stop feeling depressed and embarrassed there is nothing shame in being virgin...
