    Hi everyone!

I decided to join this website because of No Nut November. I've tried not to masturbate for a month several times over the last few years, but always failed - my most successful streak was 21 days last year. This time, I want to be 100% serious about it and I hope that even the effort of signing up here has a psychological effect.

I have compulsively watched porn and masturbated since before I was a teenager. Friends showed me a popular porn streaming website when I was 11 and very quickly, I was using it whenever I had access to my parents' computer. With each year, what I watched would become more unpleasant and removed from what "real" sex is like. As the years went by, I also started sexting via websites/apps like Omegle and Kik, sending explicit pics to complete strangers (I'm bisexual, probably a 4 on the Kinsey Scale). This pattern (porn + sexting on a near-daily basis) has been going on for maybe 8 years.

For about the same amount of time, my sex life has been practically non-existent. I had two boyfriends as a teenager, when I wasn't as addicted to porn as I am now. To think that at that time, I was more sexually confident and active than now makes me feel pathetic, but also really determined to change something. I have only had sex with a woman twice and had maybe 4 or 5 male sexual partners. In almost all cases, I had great trouble maintaining an erection and I am pretty certain this is due to PIED.

Generally speaking, my life is going in a great direction: I'm a successful uni student (from Germany), currently studying abroad thanks to a prestigious scholarship. But anything pertaining to sex and "physicality" is a disaster. I don't work out (never have) and just don't consider myself even capable of getting laid. I really, really want to change that and I am sure that quitting PMO is the first and most important step on that journey.

If you could be bothered to read this whole text, congratulations! If you have any questions, feel free to ask away. I'd be particularly happy to meet people who also struggle with a sexting/Omegle addiction, but any response is super welcome.

    Thank you,
    rfis
