27 Year Old Female, New Here :)

Hi Everyone!

I'm a married 27 year old female who has had issues with PMO for years. I'm finally admitting to myself that it is an addiction and problem that I need healing from. I'm looking forward to learning from and connecting with other women who have shared in my struggles.

I started masturbating around age 7 or 8 I think. I discovered it accidentally in the bathtub, and it felt good so I kept doing it. I knew it was bad even though I didn't know what I was doing, and a root of shame set in when I was really young. I didn't discover internet porn until much later when I was high school, when I happened upon a pornographic Tumblr blog. After that I went down all the rabbit trails I could find.

Even so, I never really thought of it as an addiction because I would go for long stretches of time with no PMO. I truly felt like I could stop whenever I wanted, and I didn't really see it as that big of a deal. It wasn't until I met my husband @ephraimson, that I was found out that masturbation isn't just a normal, okay part of life. It took a while for me to get the realization that porn and masturbation in any quantity is a huge life destroying problem for me. E and I are on this journey of healing together, and I'm so grateful. I am currently on day 74 of a standard reboot, but we are dabbling with hard mode.
