Day 5. Feeling awesome.
Three tips to keep pmo away based on my personal experiences:
1. Make good use of time to keep yourself active. If you aren't busy doing meaningful things, you become board, urges may sneak in; you will also know that there's work that should be done (at least it is for me) and you are stressed because you feel guilty wasting time and being unproductive, urges strike for this reason.
2. Change your mindset as soon as you realize that you're not in a good mood, like the situation above, remind yourself (this works!) that this is the time that you're not in a positive condition and there's great likelihood urges will come at this point and get you, so you must turn your mindset positive again! Do whatever things that make you happy. (well except for pmo cuz it is the greatest lie that pmo gives you happiness) If conditions are limited, just try to relax.
3. If there's no urges, forget about pmo and enjoy life. If you worry too much about relapsing you may actually relapse. And form the habit of doing something when urges come. (for me it is a list of things)
The ultimate goal of nofap is happiness. I want to say that it really brings me a lot of happiness. There are misconceptions in our minds about how doing pmo makes us feel good, and there will be tough times to fight urges, tough times when someone say things against us. Whatever happens, let's protect our happiness and bear in mind that we are doing the right thing!
