Day 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 Done.
sorry I have not posted in a while, been really busy
@Scotch&Soda Welcome to the NoFap community!
To answer your question, what is your goal?
As far as the sex-related thoughts, many people find these will start to reduce over time with practicing NoFap.
Btw, my first recommendation to most people on here is to start a journal (could be here or elsewhere, but if it's here you get support from others). Forgive me if this has already been suggested to you. Here you can clarify for yourself:
- your story (if you chose), but certainly what you want to quit
- why you want to quit
- the effect that your addiction has had on your life
- what your goals are
Then over time you add things like your triggers, strategies that work for you, and anything else that you want to note down. There are loads of journals you can check out if you're interested to see how other people do them.
How to create your journal: Click on "Forums" (black bar) and go to Reboot Logs, and start a new thread within your age group.
Then to get your Journal link to appear beneath your username, copy the link, go into your personal details, and go to "Journal Thread Link". Paste the link there.
Day 3 done
Thanks alot for your advice! A Journal might work for the future challenges.
As for my goals, I'm not quite sure yet. I just learned the many benefits, and my goal is to experience those benefits ASAP
I would like to be more energetic, confident and have more motivation/ambition in my life. With that, I'm sure that the women I want to attract in my life will come. Having more women in my life is important to me at the moment.

Still clean. Didn't post the past days because I broke my phone.
Abstaining from sexual thoughts and pmo really makes me realize myself and get me started on doing meaningful things passionately. I think passion is really important, pmo and dirty sexual thoughts take passion away both physically and mentally! Let's do this challenge!! Come on day4!!
I relapsed yesterday, so I’m starting off with day zero of 30 today.
Thank you for spending some time to share all of this and at the same time answering my questions. Now for the hard part, finding what works best and what doesn’t lol.
Interesting. They sound like goals to me. A bit difficult to objectively measure, but goals nonetheless. You could start with those as your reasons for doing NoFap.
Keep us posted as to how you're doing
My pleasure! It's just a matter of starting the habit. The great thing is, even if you feel that one type of meditation "didn't work as well as another type" you will still get some benefit from the practice of calming your mind, letting it focus on one thing, being mindful. And it's something that gets easier over time
Oh and mindfulness is another type, not just of meditation, but there are mindful activities that are really quick and still helpful. Here is a good list, some of which I've done before. https://positivepsychology.com/mindfulness-exercises-techniques-activities/
I'm only a couple of weeks in, and it feels like...it's just a good way to start my day off right. There's no miracle, but it seems to leave me feeling calmer for the rest of the day then I would otherwise be.
Day 4 done, on to day 5

Day 0! I will succeed!
Day one of 30
Checking in, day 13.
Welcome to NoFap @ivanricci
What happened YooHoo? I must've missed your relapse post. Any lessons/re-lessons that you could share? All the best for this one.
