  7. go for small days and then eventually come to 30 days. It will work. And always stay busy. Learn something new. Also write the reason why you are doing it and read it everyday. Amd above all have a belief in you and god that you will conqour this.

    Hi mate,

    You are taking an important first step in admitting the problem and trying to address it. A few things i've found helpful:
    1. Routine - a regular waking and sleeping, so for me this is wake at 07:00 and bed at 23:00. It doesn't matter what hours you keep, the key is regularity
    2. Exercise - i would say it doesn't matter what it is but try and keep it regular, at least 2 times a week would be the minimum. This can be jogging or lifting weights at a gym or even in your living room just doing a basic circuit of press ups, situps, etc.
    3. Meditation - if you've never done before start small BUT regular. So I would try 5 mins a day the first week and then build up to 10 mins a day and leave it that. You will see a racing mind and it might feel scary but remember this mind is like this all the time, you just haven't noticed it before
    4. One day at a time - don't think about 7 days or 30 days, just think about the day you are in. If your stuck on a 2 day loop, then getting to 3 days will be a sign of progress

    27 of 30 - close to the finish line but wobbling a little. So it's a stressful day, last days in a job. Worrying about getting the handover right. Also a bit of a cough. Getting stressed out worrying about health too. My bad habit is that when i feel stressed like this - it comes into my mind stronger - to relapse. I'm trying to work through each hour of the day and just try to observed these feelings. 'This too shall pass' i keep reminding myself but man when its tough, its tough
