    Day 0/30

Well guys. Back at it again. I made it halfway through the challenge before I started slipping (a couple days) and letting my mind go places it shouldn't! Eventually (today) I gave in all the way to PMO. I'm disappointed I messed up, but I'm also aware that the daily check-ins helped me to get as far as I did! A hearty thanks to this community.

I'm starting to be aware, sadly, of how easy it is to let thoughts of PMO seep in through the everyday thoughts of your mind, and once you let those little rivulets of thought become little creeks, then streams, then rivers, is when it becomes nearly impossible to resist-- it feels basically inevitable that you'll give in at some point once that happens. How can I prevent those thoughts from gaining traction in the first place?

Although I know it isn't gonna fix everything, I'm looking forward to my job out West this summer, where I'm planning on leaving my computer and iPad completely behind. And I have a flip phone, so I'm praying I can fix all my efforts on fighting the mental battles rather than giving into porn when things get rough.

Officially nominating "Pound for Pound" by The Bad Plus as my melancholy, "get back up on your feet" song:

    Shalom

You may have relapsed but you managed to break your previous record and go further than you ever have. So feel discouraged about it and more importantly do not binge.

Well done on your achievement. Know this, these thoughts bombarding in your brain are all temporary. It'll soon fade. See this as a healing process and that you'll be a better person on the other side. Stay strong man

Don't be, be proud of what you have achieved and strive to go further. Let go of the negative emotion. They'll only keep you back and make relapsing more likely. You can do this
