Tomorrow I hit 30 days porn free. I just wanted to check in and share my experience so far in hope it could help others with motivation.

While I've gone through periods of drastitically reducing porn use in the past, this is the first time I'll ever reach any where close to 30 days.

The final straw for me was when I realised that porn use over the last 20 years had induced fetishes (TS) that didn't align with my sexuality. I wrote a post about this 30 days ago at the start of this journey if anyone is interested in reading it - https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?threads/trans-porn-addiction-had-an-epithany-today.293727/

So what have I learned after 30 days? Well, I'm not richer, or more successful, or better looking, lol. Basically, It's far too early to tell if this is going to have any real impact on my life and overall hapiness (I'm certain it will though).

With that said there HAS been some benefits.

    1. The desire to watch trans porn still exists, particularly when I'm bored. However, it is fading, and I'm confident that if I can keep away from porn my brain will beat that addiction.

    2. Best of all, over the last few days may sex drive in regard to my girlfriend has really improved. To be completely honest, when I was watching porn all the time, actual sex had become a bit of routine that I was just participating in. But recently I'm really into her sexually. I've began to notice things that I haven't noticed for a long time, such as the way her skin feels and the way she smells - It's kind of like being a teenager again and first discovering what it's like to have another naked human next to you.

So there you have it. Two very real and very worth while benefits to keeping away from porn and keeping my hands out of my trousers!

I know I still have a long way to go, but I'm feeling optimistic.

Good luck to everyone else whatever stage of the journey you are at.
