30 Days Clean

I started this journey after failing in many attempts to quit looking at porn and masturbating. I couldnt stay clean on my own no matter what i tried. My best streak prior to coming here was 3 weeks PMO free. This was at least 15 years ago was. I couldn't stop. Really.

After coming here i had hope that i could stay clean for the rest of my life.
I was sick, tired and disgusted with myself. I really wanted to change.

I spend alot of time here. I read alot and reply to many threads. I find i identify with alot of our struggle. I also find that within this community i am able to recover one day at a time, only through God's Grace and with the help of others who are fighting the same battle i am. Together we fight stronger than when we fight alone.

I take advice from others and have employed many methods and suggestions. I no longer fantasize, i don't look at girls, i dont watch TV, i don't read newspapers or magazines, i don't look at porn or psubs, i cut out sugar. I will keep adding to this list but what has helped me most has been this site. You all gave me hope that success is possible. Thank you.

NoFap is the last thing i tried and the first thing that worked. Checking in often, completing challenges, not fantasizing, not looking at girls, prayer, meditation and reading the Bible. All of these tools help me along with the willingness to continue day after day after day, chasing my recovery like i chased my addiction.
