Today marks Day #30 for me. Since I've been actively trying to stop compulsively using porn for the last 6+ years, this is far and away the best progress I have made so far and I really feel like I'm finally on the right path.

I don't have any "super powers" and my life didn't all of a sudden change dramatically. But I have noticed some very positive things.

I'm more relaxed. When I get home at the end of the day my mind isn't racing about spending all day online, and I'm not just biding my time until everyone goes to bed so I can get online. I'm just enjoying my time with my family, and it's great.

My workday is much more productive, obviously, since I'm not spending all day on porn. But more than that, a lot of the anxiety that I had about either getting caught or losing my job because I wasn't performing due to the time wasted on porn is decreased too.

I'm starting to see what life looks like free from that compulsion. So many times have I started the day saying that I wasn't going to go on Omegle that day, only to waste the whole day there then go home and stay up late on it again after everyone went to bed. Afterward I felt so scared that I wasn't able to keep myself from doing things that I knew I really didn't want to do, but I felt powerless to stop.

I'm not sure exactly what flipped in my brain 30 days ago that enabled me to make this progress, but I'm so happy that it did. Not going onto triggering websites like Twitter and Youtube has certainly helped, along with coming on these forums everyday and posting my progress and participating in other threads.

I absolutely feel like if I can make this kind of progress, after years and years of addiction and trying and failing to quit, then anybody can. Start with figuring out your triggers and what sets you off, stay away from those things and create better habits instead. Its worked for me for 30 days now.

Awesome. the first 30 days are the hardest part. Just a matter of time before you make it to the 60, then 90 days

    Congrats... bro !!!
30 days is just awsome. In my view, at the 90+ days you would see more changes, untill then the urges would be there. And the period of 30-90 is quite up-down swings.
