so I found this site early last month. I have always been looking for a reason to quit M and porn . I have always done my research online looking for proof that porn and fabbing was bad.. the result always showed me that M was normal. And it had no side effects. When I read stories of people on this site, it became clear to me tht I was an addict. I used to fab twice a day , am 23 years of age. I always felt guilt after fabing .
So I decided to stop fabing for a month to see the difference.. OMG am like a changed person, totally different.
    LIST OF BENEFITS
(1)facial hair is back, my mom always told me I was hairy when I was younger.. I couldn’t understand where all the hair went to. Now my testosterone level is at an all time high.
    (2) social anxiety is gone , I start up conversations with anybody I want. My confidence is back
    (3) my hairline is slowly coming back.. the babyhairs are very visible.
    (4) my voice is slightly deeper
    (5) I wake up in the morning knowing am not some stupid looser who wanks off to videos of porn videos created by pornstars, cheap prostitute.
    (6) my depression is not very severe anymore. I cannot harm myself anymore..
    (7) am happy I look forward to every day.
Hope you know I have no reason to lie to you. Or anyone on this site? Don’t ask me rhetorical questions. Am sad that I wasted 8 years of my life to porn. That is it, No more!
Advice! If you keep relapsing do this— Anytime you think of fabbing.. tell yourself how useless M is , insult yourself ( inner voice) tell your mind that it has no right to tell you what to do . Take a stand. Life without porn is amazing. I pray I never relapse. Hopefully I stay away from porn forever . Thanks

Who says it's too late to recover at 28? :D I'm 29 and I am in this recovery process also. I haven't seen anywhere that being in the late twenties makes recovery impossible

I am 41 (last 44 days also on hard mode). It's never too late. I see many benefits after this half year, above all:
    - more energy,
    - being able to control my anger,
    - being more firm/decisive/assertive,
    - shame from watching porn is gone,
    - much better relationship with my wife and daughter,
    - most fears about the future are gone
    - and a few more.

Hi I'm on 10th day of nofap. Yesterday I've noticed some white ,,babyhair'' on temples. Should I shave it? I'm 16 y/o so I think I'm able to regrow my hair. Most people in my family have hair.

I am 27, and turning 28 in July, but I never tell myself it's late. It's late when you give that limit to yourself, I relapsed a lot, and everytime I say this is the last time, but I never lost faith in myself. If you want help, we can start giving eachother some push. But it's never late. I am doing the 7 days challenge again, which I already did a lot. So let's do it together if you want.

I also have the benefits, all of you said. You are very strong. I have tried to reach 30 days for almost a complete year. Now I achieved it, but it was so difficult. I'm also 23, thanks for posting.

I can hear a lost of faith here. Why do you think it's too late for you to recover as a normal person? Once you keep thinking like that and your subconscious gets grab of the thought it will manifest it into reality! And that's it! You will never recover as a normal person. An advice, just believe that you will fully recover and live a normal and happy life. You weren't born with this addiction and as such you won't die with it. Only if you truly believe!
