300+ Days (Recovery is dopamine receptors healing, not just no pmo)

So Ive quit caffeine, pmo and all dopamine overkill raising shit and it was quite a ride, withdrawals are real and here I am. Still alot of improvements needed but atleast i am not at the begin of this dopamine healing journey.

Whoever wants a "fast recovery"
No social media besides youtube, just use some common sense.
No caffeine no green tea's. Dark whatever has caffeine, chocolate etcl
Less sugar.
No pmo obviously

Read books, go outside if possible and thats it. If one heightens dopamine, dopamine receptors cannot heal in that environment if you drink that caffeine. Just mark my words and you will be healed faster then you reading all those 2 years 3 years stories. Some aren't genuine and still drink that caffeine and wonder why they're stuck for 4 5 years while serious rebooters heal between 3-6-14 months. Just mark my words and do what i suggested here above. I seriously have all those great benefits but i want to keep it short and motivating. Keep going and be rational, aim for 3 months then 6 then 9 then 12. Just one step a day. Trust me and mark my words you will heal and leave this forever behind. Everything has the same mechanism on your receptors: downregulating.

The only way is up and that is only if you allow it to go up without bullshit like caffeine, fantasizing, etc yeah I had wetdreams all normal, body aches, pain, flu symptoms, anxienty, depression but the longer you go the easier it gets,
My hair grew back, sleep is better then i have ever slept in my entire life, my eyes are brighter, more confidence, and 100 things more but to keep it short
, its worth it.

Keep up the good work and dont consume the negativity, or read stories about 3 years still withdrawals because I tank myself up with caffeine.
Mark my words aim for 3 months then 6-9-14 and dont do the things i mentioned at the beginning.

Too much studies have done that it triggers dopamine in a unnatural way so let's do the match,
Quitting pmo means -> dopamine receptors healing -> temporary withdrawals.
But here it comes: Quitting pmo -> having social media -> fantasizing -> caffeine -> much sugar then needed -> fast foods.

Particularly the caffeine part is the most important to ditch away, maybe we have a pmo we do, others have caffeine that has equal pain like pmo, you're downregulating the receptors and you will feel that. It doesn't matter what the choice of dopamine hit is as long as the mechanism is the same we experience the same withdrawal.

TDLR: keep going. I hope this will be motivating that nothing stays forever and you will heal man trust me. I felt this shit all and a little things started to get right, my pelvic tilt is gone, my eyes are brighter. Sleep is better then ever and still I'm halfway there.
Goodluck new people and I suggest to collect the withdrawals part of your information but never the 2+ years horror stories and never healed stuff. Just get rid of that and be the best you can with yourself this year,

Aim for 3 months then 6,9,14 just allow yourself to have done everything that doesn't hinder the withdrawals then you're sure it's temporary no matter the pain because I felt them all and don't use any shit I mentioned above. Oh and wetdreams are maybe once a month of 2 and it gets better.

Common sense 80% are addicted to caffeine, if dopamine was non existent no one would drink it. If you want to heal for 10 years goodluck.
theres nothing wrong with coffee. Everyone is addicted to something external to an extent. If its under control then theres no problem, you have to enjoy your life sometimes. The goal isnt to be a monk that stares at walls
 
Why I would agree to the "full detox"-approach, I would also add that everyone starts from a different perspective. If you can, then do a full dopamine detox. I personally cannot do it in my situation, because I have serious depression and have to take antidepressants. I also drink coffee at the moment. So with suicidal thoughts I prefer a longer recovery and do everything step by step.
 
Why I would agree to the "full detox"-approach, I would also add that everyone starts from a different perspective. If you can, then do a full dopamine detox. The goal here is to stop PMO. PMO is a huge source of dopamine. If we have become addicted to this in the first place then we all have an element of needing an external dopamine source to regulate ourselves. This is FINE. Almost everyone does this, just use the principle of harm reduction.

If PMO is the habit you want to stop most, then if you start to eat a bit more junk food, or play more games but manage to stay away from PMO then thats a good trade off until things level out.

I once worked in a clinic for addicts and people there drink gallons of coffee. Nevertheless, it's better if they smoke and drink coffee and don't do coke or heroin.

Everything rises dopamine. Even a cold shower raises dopamine. This is about eliminating the unnatural constant dopamine high which completely destroys the receptors which is P O R N. constant novelty and clicks in one of the most active part of the brain (the sex part).

Caffeine and porn cannot be compared. I have completely healed and I felt better than ever with a lot of dopamine sensitivity and I still drink coffee. However, it is a moderate amount (2-3 cups a day)

exactly, people with addictive personalities will always rely on something. Its about picking the least harmful addiction that gets you by lol

I just want to second this. I am recovering from PMO (almost 30 days now) and I drink coffee every day (moderate amount). Depending on what type of coffee you drink, it even has some health benefits. And even if it didn't, I enjoy it. I also enjoy eating fast food sometimes or having a beer sometimes. The goal is to beat PMO, which we know for a fact is very harmful. Especially during the beginning of your NoFap journey you shouldn't be too hard on yourself when it comes to other sources of dopamine, otherwise you're setting yourself up for failure as you'll crumble under the pressure.

"Everything is dopamine" but people suffer from same bullcrap from caffeine alone without ever doing pmo because they hit directly your receptors

Believe whatever you guys want but i wont ever come back because i can see the light shining.

You dont need fake energy and fake caffeine,
What they do is block adenosine and wreak havoc on your receptors.

This is my philosophy and this is my way of healing naturally without drugs or dopamine enhancements.
Cold showers? Your problem not mine but you should use common sense.

Cold water is god made. God created water that matches our dopamine receptors and levels.

God or jesus didn't told us to consume drugs to alter your chemicals in natural in an inhumane way.
