Interesting question. I can’t answer because I’m not on a long streak atm, but it’s certainly a trend that many shows contains what basically amounts to near-pornographic scenes Avoidance might be prudent
Not currently on a long streak, and also don't know what you consider long but I did watch shows when on months long streaks before. There's nothing wrong with a little entertainment but I'm just getting to a point where it's kind of boring for me, for the most part. I'm not sophisticated enough to be a snob or prefer highbrow stuff or whatever, but a lot of stuff does feel rehashed and I guess I just want a bit more out of the content. Considering how we'll never be able to watch most of what's out there it would make sense to find the best.
I'm on a long streak, and have done many in the past. I haven't watch TV, series or movies in 13 years.
I It's because I watch em this days and I see it like it's very triggering and it can cause a set back. So I wanted to hear your opinions
I need to be careful. I don't launch into films or TV series that will be too triggering, though there have been some films I got wrong-footed by (e.g. Personal Shopper and Bombshell, which I wrote about in journal posts here and here). Typically I can tell what's going to be salacious and what's more genuine. And if something I am watching gets too much then I surreptitiously look away, or get up to make a cup of tea
Line Of Duty Series 1-6. There is nothing triggering in the entire history of the show from what I recall. It's brilliant IMO.
None. Unusual, I know. But it is a police procedural drama. Lots of tension and lots of action at times. Great writing etc.
