33 Days and hes still goin.

So it has been 33 days since I discovered my boyfriend had a problem with porn addiction. I was so hurt it nearly tore me apart so you can just imagine how our relationship suffered. I done alot of research and thought to myself, do I want to just give up 7 years together nearly 4 of those years with our daughter as a family? Or do I want to fix what I can and help the man iv loved for those 7 years. I chose to stay and do my best for myself, himself and us as a partnership. I can say I struggled so much with the lies and betrayal but we communicated constantly and told each other how we where feeling honestly without judgement. This helped alot, along with the support of people here. Just seeing other peoples stories and ways of dealing with this problem really helped me feel less alone. I do feel that we have built trust back up to a piont im not constantly over thinking about his every move, at the same time not 100% there but ever day is a step closer. I am proud of him for coming just this far, I am aware that hes not "cured" as I dont believe you can be but I believe there will be a day how ever far away that he will just think back and say wow I can say hes over it and proud of himself. So much has changed in the past month with him hes so good to me and our daughter his communication with me has become so good he smiles alot more and I can see a difference in him even in bed, hes more focused on us in the moment, not what he thinks we should be. Im wrighting this for appreciation to the forum to thank the people who have replied previously and privately and to those who just shared there stories fail and success stories. I hope that in time down the line, I can continue to add more days on to my partners porn free life and for everyone else here the same.
