35 and older accountability, Group 2

185/192 = 96.3 %
Still possible: 358/365 = 98.0 %
I should be more careful on Saturdays…

Discipline and planning are both vital for success. But without good rest, it's twice as hard. Summer is hitting hard here and the nights are not only hot, but also short. Going for a short vacation now, so don't expect any updates during that time. Will enjoy the vacation, time away from work and seeing some good friends!

Stay strong

I made it this far before, then reset on day 60. I'm not taking anything for granted or making any assumptions. I'm humbly grateful to be here today, feeling much clearer, cleaner, happier, and more optimistic than I was when acting out with PMO. I'm committed to this path for life, taking it one day at a time. So grateful to this community for all the support and knowledge you've shared, and for the honesty, vulnerability and bravery that I've been inspired by for 11 months now.

This week:
2 days meditation
1.5 hours exercise

60 days is pretty impressive buddy! Well done!

So I’ve updated my MO calendar. Pretty boring, mostly green. If there was a calendar of 2022, it would be almost all red.
cal8.png

Key: |██| multi MO, |██| MO once, |██| no MO, |██| no O, maybe M.

I changed my fitness goal to exercise 5 min per day, no weekly goal.
• Goal 3: Exercise ≥15min/day and ≥4h/week → CANCELED
• Goal 3a: Exercise ≥5min/day (better ≥15min/day)
I started an exercise calendar. Even though it is still mostly red, it looks better than in previous years. A calendar of 2022 would have been entirely red. I hope it will soon change to yellow, and to green. (There is no yellow before July, because I counted in 15 minute steps before, and now in 5 minute steps.)

Checking in here...

Sorry for my absence. Everything was going well this month. Then I had 1 PMO, then suddenly it was 5 PMOs and now it's 6 PMOs this month. This is not good.

I really need to get back on track and stay on track.

For now, I think the main things are to think, focus and pray. In the beginning of 2022 I was determined to focus on this. And I needed and I still need to focus on this for about 5 years maybe longer. But about a year ago, my overall life situation changed and I wasn't able to focus on this. Now I think things have stabilized, and I can continue to focus on this. I need to regain that focus and determination I had in the beginning of 2022.

Yes, it’s a color coded calendar.
• Green: no MO that day
• Dark green: no O, maybe M (no M was not a goal)
• Yellow: MO once aka reset
• Red: MO multiple times aka relapse. If I had a calendar of 2022, it would have been mostly red.

If you like the idea and need a blank calendar…

Thank you, I like the idea and I will do one for me as well. thank for sending the blank one.

Just coming of the airplane. Man, I was like the only adult I could see that wasn't glued to the screen for a 2h flight. I watched a father sitting in row front of me watching youtube reels and it looked so dumb, as if his brain was offline, numbed with dopmaine. I would then realize,... this is how I look like, it's my reflection I'm looking at. Porn, reels, screen,...it helped me opening the perspective and understand more broadly about learned habits, triggers and craving for any "pleasure".
Summer seams to be a difficult time, vacations,... and the dopamine traps open up everywhere.

Stay strong!
