I have a week. I’ve been trying to maintain balance this past week. Doing lots of exercise and running, staying active on NoFap, reading recovery literature, serving and supporting my wife. Work stress is lot lower and when negative thoughts hit me, I’m challenging them in order to maintain this equanimity.

52 to 0. Hasn't been an easy month, things just piled up, crisis in the marriage, my mother got diagnosed cancer, got the biggest customer I ever had since I'm with this company, children stress as they are done with school this year...argumentatively none of that was my fault, but then again, all of what I allowed to happen I'm responsible for. Easy to navigate in calm waters, but was close to drowning. Today, when sober again, feeling it's time for a clean cut. New focus, aiming at target again. The last time before that one I went close to 90 days, but I remember how well it felt to get back to 0, so it would be a clean rehap. A new Start, a new lift off, back on track and no dead wood.

Those things would threaten sobriety for almost all of us. Focus on being the best man, husband, father, son and employee you can be during this time and try to do it as much as you can without PMO. You can do this, even if it feels like you can’t at times. You are much stronger than you know and getting stronger every day you are sober.

Hey guys! Since I broke a 78-day streak in May, these have been my relapses:
MAY: 2 DAYS
JUNE 5 DAYS,
JULY 6 DAYS.
I couldn't get past the famous 14-day barrier.
However, I'm happy because I'm seeing big picture.
I´m doing much better than last year, when I knew nothing about NOFAP.
Today I'm on the 11th day.
Pray for me. Thank you

Glad to see you're looking at the big picture. Looks like you're doing great, keep fighting the good fight.
Urges have begun creeping up this week. I've never had a streak this long and it's making me a little shaky for some reason. Probably something to do with ingrained self-defeating thoughts. I need to be especially mindful and vigilant; being accountable for reinforcing good habits and keeping myself away from behaviors associated with temptation (mindless social media or streaming service browsing, lingering on or sneaking peaks at the wrong kinds of images, etc.).

Day 1, started mindful meditation. Had a terrible last night, hope that is not related,ha! But I will build an agenda with fixed times to brief for the day, do meditation, sport and arise every single day, every single one of them, awareness about my goal. Keeping the dopamine levels low and manageable. It´s a marathon, not a sprint.

When these urges come, try to lean into self care and things that replenish your sense of strength and peace. 67 is great. If you can hold on, the shaky feeling at 67 days will be something you never have to experience again.

It's encouraging to see everyone striving for success here. It's a help to me. This week wasn't perfect for me. Next week will be here soon, I'll be more prepared. I'm looking to develop a routine of good habits... and I'm getting there. It seems like for me I need to get into a new routine maybe twice (maybe more?) per year. Once in the summer and another in the winter.

Just wanted to share a brief note on meditation. It´s part of the "change thoughts" defense technique. I have seen some people in this forum doing it, and thought it´s worth a try. Just a few days in, but the first experience is positive. I have tried several times meditation in my life before, but never found it very defined, scientific enough, and couldn´t make it stick. But for the time trying it, it has helped with urges. When I feel urges coming, when I´m procrastinating, stressed, tired,...I try to feel myself, why I want to compensate now with PM. The mindful meditation asks to focus on your body and that helps shift the focus during that critical moment and address that causing need. I listen to some web podcast and that said, yesterday night during lesson #3, I fell asleep.

There are many such distractions mentioned in this forum, cold showers, drinking 3 glasses of water, working out,... they all have in common to bring the mind back on track. Crucial is, not to remain in that state and do anything else to get out of it, otherwise the autopilot will steer for the programmed route.
Personally I found hardest the first 48h and the 2 weeks barrier. With for 4 days in today,I´m clear of the 48h. The next is now the 2 weeks milestone.

Agree with the 48 hours and 2 weeks. After I broke my 30 days strike, now every 2 days I fell back to fapping again. Feeling bad and a bit powerless and ashamed. The most difficult part is every reset weakens my conviction and confidence and I am less convinced as I was when I started (and I did 36 days).
I need to watch for tiny little thoughts all over the day, including when I saw women on the street or watching / reading a social post.
