  1. Good luck, Timber. Your streak has been the envy of us all. If you can hang in there for 18 more days you will win the coveted 6 Month Medal of Honor.

I was thinking about that medal while in the shower, instead of fapping! :)

Thank you, again, for creating this motivational tool!

I am here a lot... this means I am struggling.

I edged for about half a minute yesterday and I really freaked out. The odd thing was that there was no feeling down there, but mainly what freaked me out was where I was headed.... what am I doing? Do I want to go back to THAT?

It’s been a daily struggle and I Hope last night was a wake-up call!

Day 3. There were some plumbing issues in my building on Monday which required several intrusions and disruptions to my plans. Mixed in with the miserable weather, I relapsed “to take control” of the day and felt horrible afterwards. I gave Tuesday over to helping a friend with a broken foot run some errands and I’m working 14-hour days the rest of this week.
The weekend will be my next challenge, so I’ve begun structuring the days with activity. I’ve also drafted another milestone calendar, hoping to celebrate reaching different goals over the next several weeks with March 8th now being Day 90.

Hey man. Just wondering.. when you know you're going to relapse, and you know it's going to happen, have you thought about doing it, but not doing it to porn? At least this way you cut your losses and still hold onto staying away from porn. If you've been restraining yourself, and then reach the point where you lose control, you should still be able to get yourself off with lotion and thoughts in your head instead of turning to the screen. Right now, my no-P streak is more important to me than my M streak. If I lose the M streak, well of course I won't like it, but it won't devastate me. But if I lose the P streak, I know I will feel really, really shitty about it. This is really the more important one, at least for me. You can relapse and still partially win.

Hey, weekends are tough for many of us. How many relapses do we get every time?

    Here’s my challenge to you:

    1. Come here and post. Aim for at least once today and once tomorrow, particularly when the urges get mad.

    2. As you post, read 3 of your own recent posts on this thread.

    3. Turn off the phone and go for a walk, talk to your family (especially kids, if at all possible), stock up on groceries, cook a meal, fix a leak, do the laundry, shovel your driveway, etc. Distract yourself for 2 hours.

    4. If the urges persist, come back to this thread. Write a second post for the day and repeat steps 2 and 3.

This weekend is the time to break the pattern, gents! Good luck!
  20. As long as we do not abuse His Grace which has been falsely taught in a lot of churches these days - 'hypergrace' is a belief that it is 'ok' to sin because God will forgive us - a license to sin is what they are preaching which is the devil's agenda. Christ paid for our freedom on the cross, not to be 'free to try, fail and try' but to be 'completely free' from all bondage and afflictions as He completely destroyed sin altogether. If I can use Yoda's wisdom from Star Wars, "Do or do not, there is no try" Christ didn't attempt to die, He did die. As long as we repent for our sins with a sincere heart and a desire to maintain freedom and pursue a love for Christ is when His Grace will wash over us. After every time I PMO, I repent and I have hope that it will be the last time and that the Spirit will trump my flesh which is the Truth if we believe it. I often find myself like Peter stepping out from the boat towards Christ, 3 steps walking on water and then sinking, I doubted the Truth and began to sink. We have access to limitless power we just need to believe in it. Myself included.

One day we will come before the Father and give an account for our lives, we don't want Him to say - "You continued in adultery without genuine repentance and your heart was far from me, if you loved Me you would have kept my commandments. Depart from me."

"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments" John 14:15
