I am feeling really good this morning. Life is good! The dark clouds that have been hanging over my head have dissipated. I practised transcendence meditation and forgiveness this morning. I feel like I have released a lot of negative energy and resentment. I feel a lot lighter. Blessings and healing to everyone here!

Tact and persuasion with the use of scriptures would have been better rather than blanket judgement. I do have a Christian background and have fervently prayed about my issues many many times but did not see a major improvement in my PMO fight. In many churches I have attended, pharisaical judgement and legalism prevail which makes a person like me always feel shame for being an addict. My new age filth and self-help therapy have seen me reduce my porn use by over 70% this year alone because the deep-seated shame that has haunted me since my childhood has begun lifting. Thanks but no thanks. You will not shame me! You don't know my background neither do you know what I have been through. Let me burn in your so-called hell. 1 Corinthians 10:12 says: "So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall!" Moreover, Jesus is the one who will judge me not you (Romans 14:10).

In addition, 1 John 4:8 says that God is love. Why would a loving God enjoy burning people in hell forever? What sought of cruelty is that? The punishment does not fit the crime.
Proverbs 24:16 shows that the righteous one does fall many times but he keeps getting up.
Romans 7:21-25- The apostle Paul always tried to do what is right but sin's law was always before him waging war against him. Even if Christ delivered him spiritually in verse 25, Paul's flesh was always subject to sin's law as long as he was human. Paul failed many many times with desires of his sinful flesh yet he was declared righteous.

Porn addiction is not a black and white issue.

We’re all gonna make it
I have now reached the one year mark with cold showers that I set out for myself, however, this challenge still remains. It may be a long journey ahead but with the strength of willpower, if you want it bad enough, there is nothing that can stop you from being triumphant in the great quest of living a holy life.
