45 days masturbation free. this streak is 45 days but nofap has been an on and off battle for ~1 year.
much improvements have refreshed and empowered me throught this year.
a few years ago I was struggling with disgousting fetishes. they had control over me and I couldn't say no. I won't go into detail about them but they were very ugly and I wouldn't wish them upon any foe.
fetishes are curable. they slowly disappear and as your mind gets cleaner you no longer get pleasure from them and after training your brain to avoid them (by abstaining) it becomes instinctive. at this point I have no urge to indulge in them.
nofap superpowers:
My opinion on this is, once you beat an addiction you feel unstoppable and on top of the world for a period. As I've quit PMO, weed and videogames I've been searching for new ways of getting dopamin hits. You start getting that warrior mentality and truly attract more women but not necesserily by abstaining but with the changes abstaining invokes.
advice:
-religion is a huge part of who I am so I must advise you to become orthodox christian, read The Scripture 1 chapter (minimum) every day, attend liturgies and take it slow. Great wealth comes little by little.
-workout regularly. exercise (almost every morning after prayer I tend to do 10min HIIT abs workout. and i try to train at least 3 days per week. street workout, swimming, running, boxing. those are some things that are to me much better and healthier then going to the gym. if you bodybuild quitting nofap will be much harder as your body will be much stronger than your spirit, thus it will be hard for you to control impulses and urges. also tbh I find it ugly to be bulk and have huge muscles. why would one need such muscle mass? look at the bull, huge with much muscle and then look at the lean majestic eagle. what animal gets more praise in your eyes?
-intellectual work. the brain is also a muscle, you should constantly improve it. learn a new language, learn programming, journal with your left hand every night, brush your teeth with your left hand, do sudoku, study for school, read, read, read!
-socialize. humans are social creatures. hang out with your people. don't make hanging out the biggest part of your life but definitely go out. get a girlfriend. make consistant effort to make friends and get more and more connections overall. have contact with people much older then you and people much younger then you. thus you can keep a healthy perspective on life through the wisdom of the elder and the enthusiasm of the youth.
