5/60 - Be strong! Be a man!
Day 45. After like ten days of flatline, some normal feelings are returning. This is good in that I'm feeling more like myself again, but makes things a little more challenging since the hormones are flowing pretty good right now.
One thing I noticed, is how being away from P makes you more aware of the casual sexuality which permeates our culture. It's just everywhere in the media & entertainment & advertising. Unless you live in a cave, it's hard to escape it. So we must cultivate our own internal resilience to these influences, since they can lead right to PMO and the whole escalation pattern after that.
Hey man I don't know the official "rule" on this, if there is one. Seems like a gray area to me, so I wouldn't worry about it. A couple nights ago I actually had a similar experience in a semi-lucid dream state. I did not O, but was probably twenty seconds from it. If it had happened, I'd be giving myself the benefit of the doubt.
Thanks so much Force!
As @chiyu said, don't worry about it. You are overthinking it. If it is a dream, it doesn't count. It doesn't matter how things unfolded in a dream. It's a dream. If you have a dream about logging onto porn and jerking off to it and you ejaculate and then wake up.. it's a dream. You can't control it. And it doesn't count. One of the drawbacks of a long PMO challenge is that you are not releasing your semen, which is unhealthy. A wet dream does that, without restarting the bad habits you had before your challenge. So it's a good thing. Don't worry about it, and don't reset your counter because of it.
YES! You are back on the boards. And that is the most important thing! As Freeman82 says.. If my counter does not say zero, today is a good day. Keep it up.
Day 33 complete!
Phase 3, Day 4, underway!
Day 10/60, about 16.7% into the challenge.
Even more 0. Went on a binge yesterday. It was terrible. I just can't stop, no matter what I do.
It may feel like you're stuck, but remember that change is always possible. Use your frustrations to motivate you. Try for small victories, and build on them. Hang in there buddy.
It's day 14. I was kind of bothered by that wet lucid dream yesterday. But so far everyone's telling me that I should not count that wet dream as a relapse. Besides, I am not even sure whether I had full control during the dream anyways. So I guess challenge continues...
60 days might seem as a whole lot. Do you think a shorter challenge would work more positive with you since you that way would achieve more completed challenges?
6/60. Good times!
You’re still here, and that’s a good thing in itself.
