60 Days Reboot! Building new habits

    Hello everyone! Recently finished a 30 day reboot and now I'm moving on to the second stage! I am extending my reboot for 30 days. You can read about my experience here https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?threads/the-road-to-light-at-35.316227/page-7#post-3140821

    For the next 30 days, I want to reinforce another habit, doing sports for 10 minutes every hour. I will do race walking every hour, because I work at the computer. In 10 minutes, you can make 2000 steps and Such iterations can be repeated several times during the day. I plan to take from 16 thousand steps per day, up to 20,000 steps An example of what I'm talking about:

    Count me in buddy! Even I m still in my day 7 I wanna to change my habit too. Beside from keeping nofap, I will try pull up (til I feel exhausted) every time I go to toilet since i installed a pull up bar in my house. Considering I drink a lot of water even working in front of my PC, i hv to go toilet like each 1 to 2 hrs during the day time. I know this is not some great achievement but I hv found doing some exercise can calm my mind a little bit during work.

    Today is the 33rd day of the reboot! I thank everyone who goes this way! By rebooting! You guys are so great! Today the realization has come of what needs to be done in order to easily get rid of addiction. 1 You need a logical understanding of how addiction works 2.     Nice! Logical understand of addiction is very important I believe (even tho I’m still working on it). I was keep thinking this morning how come this time I can reach my day 8 much easier than b4 when joining this forum. Is it the way I interact with this forum differently? Or this forum giving me something to fight porn which exactly I was lacking of b4? Or any other life factors which I overlooked helping me? I haven’t yet come up any solid idea and If I hv later, I hope I can share here. Work hard everyone!

    Yes, I also noticed that when communicating on the form, the reboot is going well. Awareness appears, clarity in the mind. I think because there is a collective intention to deal with this contagion.

    Today is the 34th day of abstinence! And the 4th day of a new reboot! I am grateful that I can go through all the participants, that I can go through these processes on this forum.

    36 Reboot Day! Thanks to everyone who keeps their days and tries on this path. Thank you for believing it can be done. Thanks to the whole community for the invisible support. It's a beautiful day! Filled with activity. No urge, no porn memories. I shared with a friend about my addiction. It became easier. He just told me without fear. let go of the fear.

    Today is 38 Reboot Day! Thanks to the nofap community for their tremendous support! I continue to study the book by Gary Wilson and I find many interesting thoughts there.

    At the very beginning of the book, there is a mention of the problems of overweight in developed countries and the connection with viewing P. The author says that these things are related. I agree with it. because when there is a lot of something, it leads to over stimulation. With food, this is obesity. With P. it is not the ability to take responsibility for your life. Because the frontal lobes of the brain are reflected. This is a real addiction where I lock myself into myself.

    Another surprising fact is that we know from childhood that lust is bad. We are taught either by religion or by Parents. But for some reason in my head it was debugged badly. I wonder have you ever thought about lust?

    Today is the 39th day of the reboot! Inspired by Gary Wilson's book. It helps to realize what brought me to this point. I would call it self-analysis. Today I am haunted by thoughts about such a kind that Internet P. is available only in one wedge. We don't have to do anything to enjoy life. Just a couple of clicks and that's it. You don't even have to get out of the chair. Just one by one click and you are satisfied. This is the big pitfall that I'm used to it.

    Now a new time has come to set conscious goals and achieve results. It's difficult, but this work was already started several years ago. Success doesn't come overnight. Now I am sure that the reboot is the initial stage and gives a chance to get away from acute addiction. Now we need to form new habits instead of old ones, which will give joy from the taste and satisfaction from what has been done.

    I like this “success doesn’t come overnight”, porn gives us a false belief that we need not to pay any effort to gain the pleasure n making us lazy. Thanks for sharing the knowledge again buddy!

    40 day reboot! My deepest gratitude to the nofap community! what you can realize about lust and change yourself.

    I continue to read the book by Gary Wilson and think about what it says! A very interesting thought was expressed that society has changed dramatically over the past 100 years. Previously, there was not so much science that completely changed our lives. There were more religious orders and social rules. Now I do not deny religion and God, but still the influence 100 years ago on most people was greater. I just want to note that social influence was more formed and it was easier for people to keep balance in life, from the point of view of psychology, I think.

    now is a new time and I need to adapt to its reality. Now self-motivation, goal planning has become more relevant than ever. Ability to learn and be useful to society.

    I thank everyone who is on this path and I thank those who realize the perniciousness of lust!

    42 day reboot! I feel that my erection is being restored. It seems like the last two weeks I have not had night falls. Although I do get an erection in the morning. Hope this is a good sign, thank the community for such a gift that I can study my brain and body! It's good that I have a book by Gary Wilson, which I try to understand in more detail.

    Then an interesting thought for me in the book was that you can get away from accusations towards the porn industry or other circumstances associated with any addiction. Just by understanding how the brain works! In the brain there is no classification of what we do. This applies to the male and female body. Simply there is anticipation in the form of dopamine and pleasure in the form of apioids. It's simple. This is how the brain works and no one is to blame for this.

    The process continues. 43 reboot day. Thanks to the entire noufap community for the opportunity to stop doing this.

    Today I have a dopamine insight. the two centers in the head are the most sensitive and have the deeper impressions in all of our memory. these two areas are associated with breeding and food consumption. it stores the memory associated with sex and eating for survival.
    If we watch porn. then we slowly overwrite this memory. I am stimulated by actions on useless information, which is empty and does not lead to development. turns into a simple consumer.
    It becomes a good motive when I feel that I want to return to my old life. every new day I remind my memory why I want to give it up.

    Today is the 44th day of the reboot. Thanks to the community for being able to stay mindful and not do this! Yesterday there was an overnight fall, but the number of falls is decreasing in a week. It's funny that now my dreams have become brighter and more colorful. Every time I am convinced that in any way you need to train your brain not to do this. It can be video, text, book, forum posts. Anything. But this should be given time. then the brain gradually loses connection with past activities. I think even dreams help to get rid of it. I think in a dream comes fantasies that we cannot realize in life. Thank you all very much!

    Today is the 46th day of the reboot! Thanks a lot to the community for your presence. Thank you for the opportunity to communicate and share experiences.

    Today I was thinking about the complexity of giving up pornography. And how does it motivate me to get away from it. The most prompting me to change my habits is the problem of erectile dysfunction. If someone did not go so far, then this may be any acute problem associated with viewing P., possibly written out on a sheet of paper. That would always be before your eyes. By the way, I use a regular graphics editor and the function of placing the wallpaper on the desktop. I periodically update goals and ideas related to addiction. It helps.

    We need to acknowledge the problem with porn in any way. That it is harmful. This is bad. It deprives me of my strength. Deprives me of my humanity. It takes my life. Or something else. How to do it? everyone can show their imagination. Sit down and think about it. Sometimes I also compare pornography to drug addiction. You can even watch a video about drug addicts and ask yourself? Do I want to live the same way?Then clarity comes to my mind.

    Thank you very much for your attention! I wish everyone to realize this addiction and get rid of it. I wish to understand the danger of P.
