I recently read on a thread in this forum and it mentioned something about 66 days to form a new habit and breaking old ones.
I relapsed today and I have started my new streak with this goal in mind.
I want to form new habits in my life to change myself to be who I truly am and break out of this imagination created my PMO.
    Any tips are truly appreciated.

Yes, it takes 66 days to break a habit, BUT 180-314 (up to 490 days if you're unlucky) days to break addiction. There is a BIG neurological difference between fully developed addiction and a habit.

Man, I have a YouTube addiction. The only thing I've found so far to help me is to remove Safari from my phone (in the settings, if you need help I can guide you) and then on my computer I have installed a Chrome extension to blacklist certain website (normally for porn) where I have included YouTube URL in the end as well. It is not easy but helps a lot.

    DAY 1
Went successfully as is expected immediately after a relapse. I did have the urge to binge but I want to get my life together so did my best to move on. Spent time with my friends in the evening which meant 0 chances of relapsing or even any thought of porn.

Man even I have a Youtube addiction. When I’m on my Nofap streaks the lack of dopamine from porn makes me go haywire wanting to somehow get dopamine to stay happy and I end up binging Youtube like a mindless zombie for hours and not accomplishing my goals like studying , working out etc.The thing is I have contemplated deleting it but then what will I do when I have free time. I want to fill this free time with new habits and I think I will start sketching again.

    Day 2 Log
Spent my morning studying for my exams. Then went out in the evening to hang out with my friend.I have started talking to everyone i say a bit more than i usually would.I feel like this addiction closes us in some kind of shell that prevents us from talking to anyone or sharing emotions which leads to loneliness which eventually ends up in a relapse.I feel like there is a strong need to break this cycle.Life can’t be lived alone no matter what you say.You need to put yourself out there and socialize with close ones and meet new people which will bring out the human side of us that has taken a strong hit due to this addiction.

I wholeheartedly agree, the addictions of youtube and porn made me socially inept. It is sad but even though everyone knows me, I have a feeling I know no one. We truly are detached from reality when spending too much time online.

    Day 3 Log
Tried to reduce screen time mainly during the first few hours after waking up.Felt like I could use that time to my advantage and started studying after waking up instead of scrolling through my instagram feed or watching youtube.
As the day went by I realized how badly porn has taken over my mind since even the smallest things and words could stimulate thoughts in my head which absolutely shook me and struck fear in me.Gotta keep this streak going and break the chains I am shackled by.

I swear man ,we as humans have actually lost the human touch that we are supposes to have. The thing with me is I tend to use my phone a lot when alone but when I’m out of my room and spending time with others I shove my phone aside no matter what and never take it out until I’m alone again because I really want to have human connections in my life. Unfortunately you can’t change the people around you but at least you can change yourself.

    Day 4 Log
Spent the days studying for the exams. Did my best to abstain from using phone.I have noticed that I tend to binge on my phone once all my work is done towards the night which usually tends to stimulate urges in me so I have started going to sleep early if there is no reason for me to stay awake rather than binge on pointless youtube videos.

    Day 5&6
So these two days have been hectic for the most part.I finally cleaned my messy room and organized everything in my room to create a healthier environment to live in.I feel like the way you live also has a huge role to play in your addiction to porn.Went to the gym and worked out.Kept myself occupied by studying for the most part. The one thing that I have done that has improved my life is me not looking at my phone after I wake up.It’s hard during the initial minutes of waking up to not look at your phone and rather do something else since I’m always hooked to it in the morning but once I get past the few minutes I find myself in this state of wanting to get stuff done or to have a chat with someone I know rather than look at my phone. This is going to go a long way in helping me stay on the path.

I am simply not on my phone anymore. I used to be on average 4-5 hours a day on my phone (you can see that with screen time on Iphones). now I am barely 10-20 minutes on my phone. It helps with university work because nothing distracts me anymore at university. I became addicted to my computer now, but that is much better because I try now to work on the computer, I am now currently looking at my computer habits and slowly eliminating one by one every bad habit I have on it. basically I have deleted games from my computer (except factorio :) ) and I ban one by one any pornsite I might think of from time to time. Every time I find something addicting that could result in porn or extensive gameplay of a game, I try to find a way to ban it soon afterward!

Yeah even I feel like my screen time has drastically reduced in recent times allowing me to focus more on my work and other productive stuff. It has almost become repelling to look at my phone for a long time right now which is some fantastic progress.

    Day 7
A week done. This week has been amazing with my productivity levels much better than before.I feel a lot a better overall. I have the want to socialize with others to create better human connections.I have this energy and drive in me to do something other than mindless binging on youtube or instagram. I have this desire to go out there to make the life I want for myself rather than watch others live the life I wish I had.

    Day 8 & 9
Both these days have been hectic mainly with studying for the exams. But I feel like I’m now starting to feel the negative effect of the dopamine withdrawal with me feeling kind of lonely and clueless sometimes. My drive to work and do productive stuff is also starting to take a hit. This part is where I usually give up on my streak so I need to channel my energy to other stuff and keep aware of what I expose myself to.

In my expirience you will need to face with your fears. Dont try to avoid flatline and dopamine withdrawal. This is mistake i made during my first streak and failed. Now i can be alone on pc having 100% privacy and i am able to control my urges. This is hard and it takes times. I will need probably one year to dont have fear of being alone with PC. Keep going brother

    Day 10,11,12&13
I have lagged behind in logging my daily experience which is bad on my part.So these past 4 days have been days of flatline where I am constantly craving for something to do. This is the period where most relapses tend to happen so I am being cautious in my usage of social media in order to avoid any form of stimulus as I feel like I am more vulnerable for a relapse during this period. I am real proud of myself for getting past the 10 day barrier which always seemed like a mountain in all my previous streaks. I have been going to the gym regularly with only Sunday as my rest day. I follow my routine of a phone free interval of around 1-1.5 hours immediately after waking up and try to be productive during those hours. I am now in the period of craving for something to do for Dopamine and I feel like socializing is the best remedy but problem is I don’t really have a lot of friends here in Uni. I am usually the background guy in my friend circle so its kinda hard for me to really feel like socializing to people that make me feel unwanted. Hopefully I get through this slump and figure out ways to improve my social life.
