A few urges in the past day, but I'm really determined. Gonna take things one day at a time through this weekend. 3 days.

Hello Good PEOPLE!!

I am very happy to have woken up to 1 Day clean from PM! Yes, it is due to the strength that Jehovah our Creator provides, but I am also strengthened by the support from you guys, from the accountability and courage that you all are showing. I thank you. We are dealing with a beast of an issue, because while drug addicts might be able to flush their substances down the toilet, we carry our "drugs" with us constantly, with no easy way to purge them from us. So, we have to show diligence and courage to keep fighting, and to not indulge these base desires. We are better than we were a day ago, 50 days ago, or 500 days ago! So, I am simply checking in with the team. I hope all of you keep striving.

I did have the urge, not in the night, but when I woke up. But I receive emails and news letters so I go through them every morning. I guess I already have my morning routine.

 

that's okay mate... what's important is that you are still here and not afraid to try even harder.

I think we get up first and then dust off the cloths... but you got my point.. right ?

 

I relapsed last night after a solid streak, but I still haven't made it to 7 days yet. It's much harder than I thought it would be but I've been responding to my urges by reading--so far so good. I'm determined to do this. This is Day 0. We're in this together.

 

Day 2, began with lot of enthusiasm, very careful at the moment, did meditation in the morning and listened to some talks. Had an exam so most of the time was busy but now holidays have started so I've to be extra vigilant about any bad thing.

 

Day 6 feeling strong

5 days! Only 2 left! I'm going to do this. Think the trick was to become disgusted with myself as crazy as that sounds. My addiction finally scared me, and now I'm like, "Never again!"
