22 year old guy here who's on his first real attempt at this. I've tried before, but kept all the apps and accounts I was using "just in case"

Not this time. This time, I've deleted EVERYTHING.

However, I'm getting concerned the more I read about this and I don't want to relapse at all, but I also want to put my mind at ease.

I've got a new girlfriend and we've not yet reached the bumping uglies stage, but she knows I'm doing this (don't think she knows about the side effects).

In fact, she's the REASON I'm doing this - I want to appreciate her properly and don't want my PMO issues to affect our sex life like it did to my last relationship.

My main concerns are probably normal but I still want to ask about them.

Basically, I'm not planning on abstaining from sex, just PMO, yet km worried that when we get to it, I'll be flatlining. I've never flatlined before and it's honestly a terrifying concept.

Not to mention the fact that I feel like my dick is sore at the base even though I'm not doing anything - is this normal? Is it just healing or something?

I'm clean on the STI front so it's not that, and it's not an INTENSE pain. Just noticeable.

And now for the obvious question...shrinkage. I've heard it can go down and I'm JUST hitting the average category in size as it is - I've got insane anxiety about my size and always have, so the idea of it "Shriveling up" as some posts BY NoFap have referred to it is just horrifying to me...does it ACTUALLY happen?

I guess I'm just worried it's going to be like taking medication to stop your leg hurting when you walk, but the medicine makes you wheelchair bound.

Any insight would be much appreciated guys - I want to get better but I'm terrified of the journey.

  2. Hey dude, I'm in the same situation as you. I'm currently trying to get with a girl right now. She's of the reasons I'm on NoFap so I can build a healthy relationship with her. I'm planning on abstaining from PMO and keeping my V-card until the time comes.

I heard flatline doesn't occur until after day 90 so you'll have plenty of time to experience all the great benefits of NoFap.

Not to sound weird or anything but my dick is also feeling sore from doing NoFap and I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing that. I think it might be healing. Just ignore it and all the other physical concerns and continue your journey. And don't worry about size, because at the end of the day, who gives af about size? If your girl rejects you because you're too small, well she belongs to the streets.

We'll conquer this journey of greatness together, I heard you can levitate if you continue.

Listen, I'm new to this shit too but I'm mostly positive you have nothing to worry about in regard to shrinkage from this experience. The average American dick size is supposed to like 4-5 inches erect with varying degrees of girth.. I'm pretty sure I read that before? Unless you're positive you have a micropenis (look it up and you'll feel better) you shouldn't worry so much. The only thing that affects the size of your private detective is your weight. What I mean is if you're overweight, for every 30-50 lbs you lose, you gain about an inch bigger. This is because the less fat you have along your abdominal wall the more of your penis you can use... And abuse lol. But your size isn't really any bigger, it's just the fat isn't there to get in the way. Here's a link, https://www.drelist.com/blog/will-losing-weight-lead-to-a-larger-penis/

So you're saying that you are abstaining from PMO but will have sex with your girlfriend, but no orgasm? I wish you luck! Honestly the whole point of abstaining from all this is to rewire your brain, and you have to be prepared to direct all that energy somewhere, so concentrate on working out your body and mind with some good exercise and books. If you do have sex and orgasm don't be discouraged, you can make all sorts of deals and expectations with yourself, but having a healthy sex life where you don't overindulge is one of the best things to strive for. Good luck dude and don't worry about the size stuff or flatline, worry about your well being.
