    I m 20 year old and i mastrubate since 13 so 7 years of mastrubation and porn ..and now i developed ed and pe ..which i recognised during sex bcz i was unable to penetrate and ejeculate during foreplay and loose erection ,now i want to recover from this all …i have strong compulsive behaviour to think about sex and mastrubation due to this i have to mastrubate once a week which give me intense depression …so can anyone provide right strategy and way and hope that will help in my recovery ..i could never achieve pure 30 day streak of no fab ..plss give me tips …

    My strategy does not require willpower. My strategy concentrates on removing that brainwashing which makes you crave PMO. It's an alternative but very effective approach, similar to Allen Carr's Easy Way to stop smoking

    First of all, understand that willpower is not enough. You need to remove or avoid all cues or things from your life that causes you to be tempted.

    If you are alone and you get temptation, just avoid being alone. If your phone gives you temptations to P then install a porn blocker or try dopamine-detox. Just avoid all tempting situations.

    Create some strategies. Mark all the locations where you are likely to relapse. Avoid all these locations as much all you can. Understand that even touching could lead you to relapse, so don't even touch unless you pee or clean. Don't trigger yourself.

    Even after that, you will get some temptations, now what should you do?


    Meditation is most available option. Just close your eyes, breath slowly, dismiss any thoughts that come up. Soon the temptation will fade. They rarely last more that 15 minutes unless you feed them. Urge surfing also works great in fighting urges.

    Also if any bad thoughts poop up, just try to be mindful and dismiss them. Thinking about sex or masturbation is not much better then doing it.

    Also remember recovery is not just abstaining. You have to change your habit. How can your life style remain changed after recovery. Take up new habit like taking cold showers and exercise.

    Also I have seen many people relapse due to stress so stress management skills should also be considered. Developing yourself
    spiritually will also help.
