    I solely agree with you on this mankiam33. We have enough time to make this life meaningful, but many times we waste this precious time it in the pursuit of temporary pleasures often meaningless ....

    im' on nofap day 40, and during nofap i was smoking a lot of cigarettes, but now i stopped smoking and my question is if i should release damaged sperm with cigarette chemicals and start nofap from the beginning ?

    45) Be Clear about your Nofap/Pornfree Choice

    Some may want to do nofap/pornfree as a challenge a seven days challenge, 90 days challenge or more. but thats it they just want to do Nofap/Pornfree for a while. like a trip to a foreign country.

    but some others want to ditch porn and masturbation totally from their life.

    its a mistake to want the second but act for first, if you want to become pornfree or fap free for your whole life it may not be a good idea to just go for a 90 days challenge, i know it can be motivating and if it works for you good for you but if not try smarter recovery plans.

    if you want to recover forever and cant do it in a single try, then maybe its ok to relapse. you are just creating another pathway in your brain for resisting urges, every urge that you resist just makes the better pathway stronger and easier to choose.

    around day 40 has been an anxiety day for me, i think your urges are making your brain rationalize releasing. i'm no expert and i dont give medical advices but as far as i know you dont need to do so, if you want to have babies ask your doctor but if you dont just wait for next relapse or wet dream. again im no medical expert and you can can talk with your doctor about your concerns.

    46) Watch some movies (Get in touch with your emotions)

    Nofap is full of success stories about people abstaining for a while and then feeling emotions they never felt before or felt long before. about crying after years.

    Movies with message of love (not necessarily romance movies, even emoji's movie had love in it) can help you wash away the lust your brain was bombarded with for years.

    i used to read about evolutionary theories who said humans are designed to be jerks and this is why they survived, im sick of them. they are incomplete at best. and they cant see that humans survived because of trust, love and self sacrificing.

    Love is not a sexual power it happens between parents and children, between brothers and sisters and of course between lovers.

    Edit: be aware not to over do it.

    47) Be ready to live lonely.

    Porn never rejects you, or betrays you or hurts you it never leaves you and this is the case for both hardcore porn and vintage playboy magazines.
    if you are planning to stop porn you need to stop this illusional perspective on intimacy.
    actually one of Nofap's benefits is helping you to stop this believe which may make you miserable by chasing an exaggerated version of human connection and fantasy and never finding it. but being ready to say no to this fantasy would help you to be less miserable.

    48) During your flatline (paws), dont expect things to feel same as before but keep doing them.

    During post acute withdrawal syndrome (which may take a while to disappear) old hobbies may look dull, dont expect them to feel same as before if you keep expecting to feel same, you probably would become disappointed and stop doing them and this is worst thing to do.

    Of course if you used to go for hiking, after starting of paws you may not do so every weekend as before or you may not climb like before but by climbing and with help of tip #39 you can have easier and more effective recovery.

    If your life is not white it doesn’t needs to be black either.

    49) Set aside some worry time

    many of PMOers use PMO as an anxiety management technique, it does more harm than good in long run but users use it for its temporary effects.
    Having some healthy anxiety management techniques can help you so much in recovery time and one of these recovery techniques is having worry time.
    the idea is that instead of worrying 24/7 you set some time for worrying, during the day if you get anxious about something you can write it down and then think about it in your worry hours.

    dancing can help you to move your body in a fun way and reduce stress and up-bring your mood, you can do it with friends or strangers which can be socializing too #19 or done alone, btw if you decided to do it dont put high expectations and dont forget #48

    52)Maybe you dont need one big solution for many problems, but some or many small solutions for big problems

    PMO is one size fits all solution (in user's brain) for many problems. it may clear mind for some, reduce stress for others and plenty use it to get rid of boredom. when quitting, you need to have healthy or less destructive alternatives for each of these cases. its easy to fall into the trap of looking for another one size fits all solution but in many cases you just need some small changes not a revolutionary change. for example some who wants to wake up early can do so by preparing better breakfast night before, changing alarm to a lovely song and put his/her phone further.

    we may look for THE Solution, while there is no specific solution that just works. you need to find your way for each problem.
