Ah, hahaha, now I get it: what I meant that I was redefining my reasons for quitting PMO, or put differently, my reasons for doing NoFap. But while typing I combined those two ways of saying it in my head and it came out as 'reasons for quitting NoFap'. So, no, I'm not quitting NoFap, on the contrary! I'm quitting PMO once and for all. I have reset my phone password to the date that I last looked at sexy material on the internet and I've bought a beautiful small tree that I put next to my computer to turn my attention to whenever I get distracted, to remind myself of the beauty of the universe and my role in it. So, this is day 3. I joined this forum 231 days ago. Of those 231 days, I was 201 days without M’ing to P.
To answer your question, yes I’m in the Dopamine Detox Challenge on this forum. I noticed that I was spending too much time on YouTube as a substitute for PMO..
Here is a new perspective i Iearnt here in nofap. If you did 75days and you only relapsed once then you did another 75 days over time it accumulates and you will notice drastic changes in your life style which will propell you to work hard and you will reach 90days. It's the same thing for whoever reaches a month (30days). 30 days one relapse Then you aim higher and higher untill things just workout.
Today is tough! I can hardly concentrate coz of urges. Reporting 29/90 and must hit day 30 unapologetically.
The good thing you read both theories, my best advice is to try them out one at a time. And see which one gives you the best results them stick with that. ( In seems you have already tried dopamine detox, access how it affect you then tried out the other and see how it will affect you)
