Day 42. Difficult day yesterday and I need to be strong today.
Third time attempting this challenge.
Third time a charm!
Day 89 today. Crazy in a couple days I'll hopefully be at where I wanted to be at. I've realized that just because you can make a 90 day streak doesn't mean all your problems are solved. In fact you see more of your problems, and that also feels a bit upsetting. At times I feel way more insecure than ever before. But other times like this easy going morning, I think to myself, all the pain and struggles were so worth it to get to here.
I'm still an addict. I need to avoid any situations that get my heart beating rapidly and get me thinking about things I used to obsess about. My life is going to be much different than that of nine years ago. But I think it will also be much better than any time in the last nine years. I posted at the beginning of my thread, I don't think I wasted this past decade, but in hindsight I wish I had the strength to do this earlier, because I could have done so many things so much better, as cliché as that is. But I'm optimistic. I'm 26 and in a couple days I'll consider myself a recovered addict with hopefully a long life ahead of me, that I can still use to make a positive impact on other people around me.
Lets do it together bro. I have started with the same day.
Join us in our quest to stay clean in this No PMO August challenge! Only one more day left to join!
2 weeks today It's been a busy weekend visiting family but back into work now. It'll be a somewhat busy week with work but not too crazy.
I had some urges this morning but reading NoFap helps a ton. Considering starting my own journal to keep myself more accountable and document more of my efforts and journey moving forward.
It's great to see everyone's progress.
If you ever get full control over your thoughts please share the secret on how you did it.: )
