Day 10/90!!

I'm gonna go all the way!!

 

4/90, feeling pretty good

 

Day 1! Here we go again. This time I have youtube blocked for the week to see how my urges go and to see if there's a correlation.

 

Day 90 complete. Challenge completed.

I'm excited about this. I've gone 90 days before but this time is different. I have a lot of things that I can keep doing to stay focused on recovery as I continue my life. I've realized that I'll never be "done" with this. I'm always going to have to continue the new habits I've started, always going to have to work to push the chaos away. I've done a lot of work up to this point, 2020 was a year full of counseling, sex addiction classes, recovery courses, more counseling, group therapy twice a week, the list goes on.

Any success I've had I owe all of it to God. Without his strength I could not have accomplished even one day of sobriety. He is my strength and my shield and I will always keep running to him.

30 days done...I feel happy about that, but it’s nowhere near as important as what I do, think, and say today...I’m gonna shoot for one more day...

So far, I'm doing good.

 

I understand what you mean, I really considered it as a relapse. But will considering it a relapse help me or will just disappoint me?
I found that considering it a relapse, might just pull me down, and will just tell myself "I already relapsed so why not go all the way?". On the other hand, if I consider it an almost fall off the mountain climbing "Well, thankfully I am still alive". Maybe I fell some steps, but starting from point 0 again, won't help me.

You have to be honest with yourself. You're only accountable to you.

 

In less than 1 hour I'll have 20 days. Doing my best to avoid indulging in lust in all forms makes such a differance not only in less frequent and weaker urges but also in overall clarity of mind. One day at a time.
